Special Cats are unlocked throughout each playthrough by completing certain missions, or after meeting specific requirements. Most Special Cats need to be purchased with Cat Food, which is obtained as a Daily Bonus and can be purchased with actual currency.

Legend Cats[]

Legend Cats differ from other Special Cats in that they cannot be upgraded past level 30 until the player has completed An Ancient Curse/Revival of Origin, after which they can be hypermaxed to level 40/50 respectively using Catseyes.

Li'l Cats[]

Li'l Cats are weaker variants of the nine Normal Cats. They can be unlocked by playing the Event Capsule, except during certain collaboration events.

  • Maneki Cat → Neo Maneki Cat
  • Coin Cat → Macho Coin Cat (Obtained as a stamp reward during anniversary events)
  • Farmer Cat → Harvest Cat (Obtained as a stamp reward in December 2017 and 6th anniversary event, also in Summer Break Cats Event Gacha)
  • Gacha Cat → Lucky Gacha Cat (Purchased with real money during 2020 anniversary event)
  • Principal Cat → Midlife Crisis Cat (Purchased with real money during the Heartbeat Catcademy event)
