Dumpling can bite the Aku Gories now which is so amazing.

Dumpling can stack on Boraphim now

Dumpling can sneak up on Merdusa and bite Zories.

Took quite a few attempts until I decided to try Gridiron. A well-timed Dumpling can bite the Midnights. Gridiron was the MVP though (except Cone obviously), juggles Midnights easily and lasts long for 900 coin.

Rose Colored Road (Highway to Hell):

Courier. Ramen’s actually better than Cone here, as it doesn’t just get shredded by Red EnerG. Ramen also has max Resist KB talent.

I think this is the only star where I didn’t use a Continue. It was very easy, Camera sweep. Hyppoh counters Dumpling :(

Run over by Courier. Dumpling’s good too.

Took me almost 2 hours to beat this one level. As soon as I beat it, I passed out (it was 5 AM by that point). Again, no Eril.

Courier stack KBs Gobble before it can do anything. Dumpling helps a lot with that too.

Ramen OP. No Dumpling because Winged Pigge.

Took me over an hour and 6 whole leaderships (about 20-30 attempts). Tried various versions like Catellite over Ramen, Ramen solo ms, Catellite + Lil Mohawk, Ramen + Lil Rae, Courier over Cameraman, ABaha over Ururun. The biggest difference I think was actually that this winning run was the first one where I used Breakerblast instead of Thunderbolt. You just need to be able to get distance. Doron is actually a great rusher (he can do 120k damage with base attack + surge!). The key to beating this level is to save Master A for last, as it is the easiest enemy.

#1 - Speechless Tongues. Quite a funky level, I must say. Zang Roo spam isn't quite my taste, but I do like this stage, and the inclusion of Spacefish Jones. 6/10 me likey

#2 - Lamps Aloft. Uh, ok? When the only pusher in your level is countered by Courier's uncursable ability, your level is magically free to beat! Anyways 4/10 henry stage

#3 - Ashes Just Ahead. This level ain't even hard, it's just easily the worst stage design in the game. Firstly, infinite Red EnerG. What the fuck. This already reeks lazy design, but then you factor Assassin Bear. Forcing you to being default cannon... oooahahaiee88 8enenenhahahaaaaa!!!

The muppet who designed Ashes Just Ahead should maybe quit their job. I have no idea how this kinda abomination got into the game, this is on another level below. Wanna interrogate someone? Force them to play this level for an extended period of time. 100% chance for them to talk.

When I saw this level for the first time, I could just know that Battle Cat's future wouldn't be too bright. I was right, just look into Zero Legends. This is what I'd expect from monkeys with typewriters, not ponos with game design. This level is putrid in every way, and it has no hope. I just pray ZL doesn't get a remake of this level, ever.

Overall, 0/10 level and just another reason I refuse to play Starred UL. Well, maybe the next one won't be-

#4. Cloak of Hating. Sir metal seal. Sir motherfucking metal seal. Gobble. This damned level. It's not lazy like Ashes Just Ahead, it serves a purpose in this game, but HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. I had to pull out Hayabusa AND D'arktanyan just to have a glimmer of a chance with this shite. Let me just explain, how much I hate this level, more than Ashes Just Ahead.

Metal. Already a shitty trait. One damage per hit unless it's a crit? Oh please. And only select cats can even crit, relegating you to few options if you want to beat them in general. Now, let's add one with a fuckton of health amd damage, and buff it to 300%. That's Sir Metal Seal in a nutshell. Pure, unfiltered bullshit that is the great source of my hatred for this game since he was introduced. This abomination has cost me countless fucking attempts when playing any level, and I'm sure it'll only get worse when I play March to Death. Sir Metal Seal is THE way to make a stupidly hard enemy that has a BS synergy with anything else it's combined with. A pure RNG nightmare.

Gobble, the introductory enemy for most when it comes to Toxic. Gobble is, I guess a well-designed enemy spreading poison bombs all over the army, but damn I'd be lying if I said it wasn't annoying. Oh hell nah. I scream internally every time I see it come on screen, resenting myself for not bringing Fishman. Every time I see its soul float up into the sky, it's a cause for celebration.

Combine Sir Metal Seal and Gobble into one level, sprinkle little dollops of the dogs I wish just stayed in the floating disc as it went away from earth and you get... This. Cloak of Hating.

There is no sentence that can contain the amount of hatred and disgust I feel for this damned level. Even at the start I die constantly as Hurricat doesn't crit, even though I brought a fucking crit chance up (M) combo just so that the fidget spinner here can have some ability to let those golden, shiny yellow stars to emit from a dying metal canine. This is a luck issue, I know, but damn. Before I know it the dogs stack up, I have no funds to send in even any living hope of wrecking those things because Gobble just fucking nuked my Cats. That's how 50% of my runs ended up, dying before base has even been SCRATCHED. If I do kill all the starting Metal Doges, then I stall the rotten bird for a sliver of cash, and prepare myself for another failure.

Basehit is entering the gates to hell, and god fucking damn. I thought I had struck the most unfun combos in Hell's Crater, but even without Aku the demons still haunt me. Damn birds have to be intercepted by D'arkt or Sir Metal Shithead wins an all-expenses paid vacation, with a path paved especially for his convenience, destination: my base. Also, who in ponos suggested to add FOUR of those rotten turkey? I wish it was thanksgiving.

Even after Seal is dead, the battle is not even CLOSE to won. These dogs are MORE than capable to push to your base and wail on it with support from the squad of idiotic birds. I barely survived this attempt thanks to this 'minor inconvenience'.

And when I finally beat it, I felt no victory. It just felt like I was lucky, and that was that.

Needless to say, 0/10 experience. I will forever hate seals.

#5 - Hall of Feasting. Glorious, finally something of relative ease compared to... I shan't mention it. Winged Pigge is generally annoying as always, but nothing that I can't handle after beating- Why was I using Pizza and Courier here what is wrong with me??? Oh, take the 6/10, I'm feeling grateful for the fresh air. And onto the final level of the rose road...

#6 - Roast Meat, Not Cities. A satisfying end to an otherwise questionable subchapter. I always liked bossrush stages ever since I beat Kugel Schreiber for the first time, and these duo bosses are quite fun. I will say though, Master A. and Capy are surprisingly easy to stall and let me get max money before letting Bun Bun Symbiote spawn. R. Ost was satisfying to melt with D'arkt, though with Symbiote's little wave habit, it was nerve-wracking to remember my frontline could explode at any moment. But a liiitle risky fun is sometimes what I like. 7/10 level, but not enough to save the ranking of this whole subchapter.

Overall, fuck this subchapter, love Roast Meat, Not Cities. Rose-Coloured Road is a 0/10 and it's unsalvageable.

Try to time dasli to hit the first gobble. If not, force close the game and restart.

Fuck you bun bun and rost. This stage is cash issues without rich cat. The only money this stage gives is the bear.

The 1, 2 and 3-Star Lucid Nightmare Gas Station...

To my titanic, sincere and absolute surprise, this wasn't even nearly as hard as on other star difficulties, even on 1. Took only 2 attempts and on the 2nd one, I just swapped Chadbear Cat with Chief and holy fucking SHIT was I close to death. The fucking last zang roo didn't get Z-killed, so I had to chip him down from the very beginning once again. I was pinned to my base and had little to no money + the pressure from alien enemies, but I somehow managed to kill him. Chief, Supercar and Jelly did a God's work chipping it down. Chief was the absolute fucking G for outranging the zang roos and dealing tons of damage to them. Holyblast also played a major role in sweeping the zang roos or at least dealing a lot of damage to them. Nevertheless, fuck this lvl and the sub-chapter overall. This is not related to this 4-star completion, but I'd still like to thank LordMarkiquad and this Divine Video of his for saving TONS of my time. I can't even imagine how much time I'd have wasted and how many catseyes I'd have wasted on different cats. I even had this attempt where I killed all the zang roos but died to the spacefish because it locked to my base and I couldn't reach and kb it in time, even with ubers like Thunder Jack.

Difficulty: 6.9/10

A level so great I can't even measure its amazingness with real numbers.

Yeah no, fuck this lvl lmfao. I couldn't even use my bblast because otherwise, the fucker lorrane would come out and annihilate everything. I could have used Doron for him(and as a matter of fact, I did, even twice in a row), but it was too rng reliant and was very risky to do, especially later on in the battle. Rocc and Gato Amigo did a God's work with being peak meatshields. I used the same combos as on 3 stars (Bad Guys(🥰🥰) and Land-Air Assault) and they worked like a charm. Luza and Nyandam also did a God's work, one for being a great damage dealer and the other one for being a good sniper and a CCer. I could have used someone else instead of A. Baha, like Urs, but I didn't want to remove him from my lineup for no particular reason.

Difficulty: 7/10

The 1, 2 and 3 star nightmare gas station...

Holy fucking SHIT, this lvl was fucking DISGUSTING. It was literally designed to be cancerous on all the parts. The fucking ursamajor would almost always get knockbacked behind the master a after getting strengthened. 2 hits from the master a and 1 hit from strengthened ursamajor was enough to kill my Rover, even with the maxed anti-alien base foundation, which would almost never let them reach the ursamajor and chip him down, so I had to use Doron as well, but the amount of times of him landing a surge on the right place was < -[⁶⁹(420)]. I sometimes even slipped a Hitman hit on the master a with the help of thunderbolt, which, sadly wouldn't always work(1 range outrange of the ld 😔). The master a + capy part was the calmest one while the absolute worst one was the part with r ost + the stupid fucking bun bun symbiote, if I even somehow managed to get to that part. The worst part of that part(bro I used the word "part" 3 times in a row wtf) was the fuckass bun bun spawning waves at the worst moments, killing or heavily damaging my Urs and annihilating everything on his way. His chance to spawn a surge wasn't 5%, it was 50% 💀💀. I used Hitman for r ost and he was absolutely perfect for that role: 11-12 hits to go, wave immune and a big ld, absolute peak. But he had a few drawbacks, the most noteable one being his relatively high cost. On top of that, he wasn't guaranteed to land a hit on the r ost and was overall very fragile. In the end, it doesn't even ma- I mean, I took Kinjirou instead of Supercar(who I also took instead of c**rier before that) and he worked really well. After successfully doing what I planned after failing several times(fuck your waves, bun bun) and killing the r ost, I just had to not fuck up meatshielding and stack my hitmans to chip down the bun bun who couldn't do anything because of wave immune. The surge base didn't do anything other than kill a few of my Hitmans with the power of RNG and a few of my Rovers. Rover, Urs, Haniwa, Kinjirou, Hitman, Doron, Luza and even Nyandam with Lasvoss(🥰) did a God-Tier team work, I doubt I could have done this lvl if even 1 of the cats wasn't there(well, maybe Nyandam wasn't that crucial on the field but he was indeed important for the Goated Combo aka Bad Guys(🥰🥰🥰), which also includes Radical Cat). Even with all the drawbacks I mentioned, Hitman is still the most fucking GOD-TIER ancient egg along with Supercar, absolute Ws. I was stuck on this lvl for 2 days.

Difficulty: 10/10

I can't believe that I managed to clear this sub-chapter, I legit thought that I'd be stuck on speechless tongues for Ω years but I cleared it in just 2 attempts(it was still VERY hard). Roast meat not cities was BY FAR the worst lvl, which is not surprising because I even used a rich cat on it on 1 star(don't remember on 2 and 3), which means that the lvl is on some another lvl of cancer. Welp, I hope that the rest of 4* UL will be easier. But what I hope more is that ponos won't drop the end of 4* UL in 6.9 years(see them drop it in 6.8 years).

And... I'll never have to deal with shibalien(2 UL appearances when the), hyppoh(1 UL appearance when the), starfish jones, henry, gobble, mr angel, pigeon de sable, zuche, chickfi- I mean, chickful a, weaken cancer incarnate, master a, ursamajor, r ost and capy and all of their bullfuckingshit ever again(at least, in UL).

I wanted to include this in my previous post but I forgot about it, oh well.

And now, I'll never have to deal with big sal, raynard, pigge(no free money >_<), sinner snache, heavenly hippoe, boraphim, camelle, dread bore, medu-san(2 UL appearances when the), dark emperor nyandam, director kurosawah and all of their bullfuckingshit again.

Speechless Tongues

In this stage, I struggled quite a bit in gaining ground. I needed Shigong to not get destroyed by the zombies and hopefully Z-Kill the first Zang Roo, then a good anti-alien setup and something to snipe Weyland at the same time. Overall a pain, but it's to be expected from this part of the game.

Lamps Aloft

In this stage I could barely make it past the first wave, as Cone can't do much against Ragin' Gory, but then there were too many stacked Cyborgs for the enemies to handle, so the Gories wouldn't break through so easily anymore. Still, the balance was very delicate, a slip-up and the Cyborg stack would get out of Henry's blindspot, leading to certain defeat.

Ashes Just Ahead

I am aware that Gato Amigo can solo this, but I didn't feel like wasting my life on that, so this 2 cats strat will do instead. I needed some luck with the dodges to keep the first few EnerGs from advancing too much, but as long as God could reach the base without being hit first, there was no chance for the enemies to push harder than me anymore, so their base could easily fall. Well... I needed few attempts to learn the precise cannon timing to make Assassin Bear a non issue.

Metals! They were actually not an issue, this time. Curry's slow and crits, combined with Future Cat's health were enough to handle them, while the Cyborgs could take out the Gobbles without letting them attack too much.

Hall of Feasting

Winged Pigge and some peons. Although the peons were, indeed troublesome, Cyborg's weaken immunity still allowed the stack to slay the pig in no time. The rest was fairly trivial, as Zuche doesn't last long after unburrowing, chickful doesn't push and the others fall easily to Cyborg's DPS.

Roast Meat, Not Cities

This stage has few enemies designed to be countered by different cats. In other words, it is designed to stretch the army thin by requiring variety, which is an especially big problem for someone who can only use 4 cats. Ursa could be killed by Catellite, but Capy and Master A. were already too much to handle for most, let alone those buffed R.Ost and Symbiote Bun. Basically, I needed someone with great range, acceptable damage and some way to counter one of the 2 enemies on field at any point, so... Metafilibuster's turn! He did what he was set out to do (after a couple of failed attempts) and barely allowed me to scrape by this hell. I'd rather fight Mina again.

Quite a bunch of unusual units were used this time, with both God and Filibuster being crucial in their respective stages. Difficulty was high, but not unbearable. 6 stages, 6 meatshields; I am very happy that so many units can share a role without there being excessive powercreep, like in most other games. Anyway, next is Naala, any guesses on how that will go?
