This time we have decided to do something different for this hunt, we have looked at our two previous hunts on how they have failed and came up with a solution on how to make it better, via a scoring system!

• 10th Anniversary Cat and Tank graphics are hidden around the wiki.

• Pages are Cat Units, Enemy Units, Main Pages (No Stages and Galleries).

• 10 Cat is worth 1 point and 10 Tank is worth 2 points.

• They will appear in the bottom right area of the screen only on desktop.

• Screenshots of the pages containing the Cat or Tank graphic are to be submitted all at once to Novastrala or SweetDonut0 after September 26th 00:00 until September 27th 23:59.

• The top 10 with the most points get the title "10th Anniversary Finder".

• In the case of ties, they will be ordered based on time of submissions.

• All times are in UTC (a UTC clock is displayed on the wiki).

• Any users involved in sharing of screenshots or pages will be disqualified.

1. Eggy Cats are hiding on 12 total pages of this wiki. They are easily distinguishable from non event-related Eggy Cats as they will be seen in the bottom right corner of the screen. Note that they are not visible on the mobile skin. All of the Eggy Cats are on main namespace pages (no Categories, User pages, Template pages, etc.), and they are not on any subpages (nothing that has something like /Gallery at the end of its name).

CAT SCAVENGER EVENT OVER, THE CATS HAVE GONE BACK INTO HIDING.

However, there is a bonus to this years mod application, me and the other Admins have decided to create a scavenger hunt!

Around the Wiki there are 24 basic cats placed around certain Wiki pages and finding them all will grant you the custom title of "Cat Spotter 2024", this is something new we have never tried out so hopefully all goes well!

Below are some hints for the scavenger hunt to help you find them! More might be added later if needed.

1. All Cats are hidden on Main namespace pages, meaning no Category pages or User pages.

2. No Cats are hidden on Cat Combo pages, Stage pages (ones with a Battlegrounds section), gallery pages, and Version pages.

3. 10 Cats are hidden on Cat unit pages, another 10 are hidden on Enemy pages, and the remaining 4 are miscellaneous.

4. Only five people will receive this title, so be quick!

What could it mean?

What on Earth has happened.

I don't check discussions much but as of recent a lot of drama has been stirring around because of - what I believe - two users being banned across Fandom network for saying the dreadful three letter word that bestows dread amongst those who say it.

From what I know, this started because of an alt of a user posted an image of skibidi toilet with no context, just out there and every user on this wiki berated it and made a major outburst of which has gone as far as death threats.

While I don't agree with the whole thing, that being Fandoms sensitive aah block system being as it is as well as the death threats. I also don't agree that it should have gotten out of control as much as it should have.

I've talked with one of the users on their wall about the situation and I've contacted Fandom staff about the ordeal in hope to get said users unbanned.

It sucks and breaks my heart seeing regular, well known users leave because of this but where there's a will there is most definitely a way.

I will (hopefully) keep everyone updated on the situation.

Wow, never thought that this Wiki would reach a whole ten years of being active and alive.

Everyone on this Wiki has contributed so much over the years 6,059 pages, 208 active Users, 666,729 total contributions, 44,690 discussion posts and counting.

Recently I've seen posts about certain Moderators mass deleting posts when they don't seem worthy of deletion. Now I won't say this isn't true, since it is. But there are things I want to address (to the best of my abilities).

Mass Deletion

The mass deletion option is a quick way for Moderators to... well... delete posts and this is because it could be a user spamming nonsensical or disapproved posts which is understandable on why, however there are posts that are being deleted that shouldn't be. Depending on how active a user is in discussions depends how much is in their discussions profile making it more work for Moderators to search for specific posts.

Low Effort Posts

There are many low effort posts that are being deleted. That's self explanatory, if its low effort just don't post it, simple as that lol.

Polls

Just like low effort posts, polls will sometimes fall into this category too, especially if they are spammed constantly for something that won't affect any user possible other than the poster. The main culprit of polls I have seen are related to profile pictures, one or two polls are fine, but not 5 or more because at that point you may as well just use this website instead.

Spam

No.

Uproars

Please for the love of God don't do these, go to a Moderators wall and talk about it civically instead of the discussions, no one wants to be involved in the drama other than the poster and the Moderators who will eventually deal with it.

Serious Posts

By this I'm referring to the school shooting post in particular and any future serious-esque posts. I get it, the Wiki can be considered your escape from the real world, where your friends are and where you've grown a community in.

I understand that it can be used to tell those who live in said areas to be safe and seek shelter/help, which, in my opinion, is fantastic as you're looking out for other peoples health and safety.

Although many can argue that they should or should not be deleted, they will not be deleted.

As cringe as it is to say, just make sure to flair it as "off topic". Speaking of which.

Swearing And Vulgar Language

As much as the Moderators and users of this wiki repeat that this is a wiki about a kids game, swearing is fine as long as it isn't used to attack or put a user in a negative space, just don't go too far as to use words such as the dreaded n word.

The Battle Cats is rated Teen/Pegi 12 or whatever your country rates it, which is normally the age that people learn to swear and grow up (as well as grow up to be immature).

Specific Moderators Not Giving A Shit

As shit and pathetic as this is going to sound, please give a shit. I understand being a Moderator is a tiring "job", I know that I'm not exactly helping much in discussions and I will take all the blame for that. I do hop in every now and then to see what's going on and do delete a post or two that deems worthy of it and some I recategorize to their correct category if the user had forgotten to.

I've been on here for six entire years and have seen generations of users come and go, some returning only to leave days later.

I have told the Moderators that I plan to work and edit with the categories, possibly remove some old, unused ones and add new ones. However that's kind of hard when all categories serve their purpose already.

Trust me when I say I've been in those peoples shoes in wanting to completely give up on life after something minor/major has happened in my life, many other users may have been in the same shoes too.

I get that the Wiki is the most active place you are on and it's where your friends are, however it is still not a proper place to send off your goodbyes.
