A Day of Reckoning is the first stage in The Legend Ends.

Battleground[]

  • 2 Capies spawn after 5 seconds150f, delay 40 seconds1,200f.
  • 1 Camelle spawns as the boss after 10 seconds300f.
  • 5 Gabriels spawn after 36.67 seconds1,100f, delay 1.67 seconds50f.
  • 8 Gabriels spawn after 73.33 seconds2,200f, delay 2.67 seconds80f.
  • 15 Gabriels spawn after 110 seconds3,300f, delay 2.67 seconds80f.

Strategy[]

The objective is to stall Camelle and Capy at the same time. That's easy enough. The problem comes when the Gabriels arrive, as they can be expected to push back and let Camelle and Capy reach further, possibly the base, which they can both destroy with immense ease. You'll need to be prepared and kill the Gabriels as soon as they arrive, which can be done with the help of a high level Slow Cannon, an extra tank to hold the line better, or something that deals high damage against them from a good enough distance. Once you kill the first wave, use the money to try and kill Capy or save all for the next, as no more Gabriels will spawn if you endure 3 rushes.

Strategy 1 (4-Crown)[]

Lineup: Sister Act, Duet, Ramen Cat 60+, Awakened Mina 40, Slime Cat 50, Kyubey Cat, Green Shell Cat, Maximum the Fighter 60+

Items: Rich Cat

Notes: The last two units should be supporters like Hermit Cat, Awakened Ururun, Cat God the Great, Schoolbus Nyandam, etc. Just pick whichever has higher level and another combo cat like Richest Cat if not using the Rich Cat Item, which is recommended, but not mandatory. Kyubey Cat can be replaced with a 75¢ meatshield.

Start with Slime Cat, then wait for the boss wave, wait another 1-2 seconds and summon Green Shell. If timed right (this is hard to pull off), Slime will release a wave successfully, which can make a massive difference (you can either keep trying if you end up needing many attempts or give up and save on some money). After that, spam the meatshields and, after the first Gabriel pops out, summon another Slime Cat and Green Shell (not mandatory, but can make this part a bit more reliable, at the cost of precious money). This should result in another wave.

The next step is to also spam Ramen and Maximum while also adding Mina and summoning Slime whenever available. From now on, the meatshields and Maximum should be spammed whenever no Gabriel is around, while Slime and Ramen should be added when Gabriels are, instead, present. The Thunderblast Cannon can be used to allow Slime to deliver a wave attack, knocking back Camelle earlier, while Slow Beam can facilitate Slime's job only against a horde of Gabriels and Breakerblast can regain terrain when the bosses are alone. The supporting unit should be used on the second or, if things go surprisingly better than expected, third wave of Gabriels. Eventually, the damage from the waves, Mina, and the supporter should kill Camelle, allowing Ramen, Maximum, and the meatshields to easily overwhelm the opposing forces if spammed.

Strategy 2 (4-Crown)[]

Lineup: Courier Cat 50, Jellycat 50, Mushroom Cat 50, Cat God the Golden 30, Awakened Mina 40, Li'l Mohawk Cat 40+40, Gato Amigo 45, Catburger 30, Macho Coin Cat 30+8, Boulder Cat 50

Cannon: Thunderbolt

Notes: If you can't get the timing of Jellycat right, consider putting a useful 1-cat combo in the top row instead.

Start by upgrading your worker cat to level 2, and then use Boulder Cat to stall Capy. When Camelle spawns, begin spawning all your meat shields and stop sending Boulder. Try to save some money for when the Gabriels spawn, but invest a little in your worker if you have surplus money.

Use Mushroom, Courier and Boulder cat to deal with the Gabriels. You can also use Jellycat, if you can get the timing right. Return to spawning just meatshields once the Gabriels are gone.

Keep doing this until you can afford Cat God, who will help with pushing Capy and Camelle back. If they have not pushed too close to your cat base, you can instead spawn Mina to help with damage against the bosses as well as versus the Gabriels.

Once the Gabriels stop spawning, it should be a cinch to kill the Capys and Camelle with some well timed Couriers, along with chip damage from Rock Cat.
