A Pile of Guts is the sixth and final stage in Theatre of Fear. Bore Jr. debuts here.

Battleground[]

  • The enemy base here is a Relic Doge Base.
  • 3 Bore Jrs spawn after 10 seconds300f, delay 13.33~16.67 seconds400f~500f.
  • 5 Celeboodles spawn after 33.33 seconds1,000f, delay 33.33~36.67 seconds1,000f~1,100f.
  • 4 Bore Jrs spawn after 56.67 seconds1,700f, delay 26.67~30 seconds800f~900f.
  • 1 THE SLOTH spawns as the boss after 66.67 seconds2,000f.
  • 1 R.Ost spawns after 66.67 seconds2,000f.
  • 7 Bore Jrs spawn after 66.67 seconds2,000f, delay 15~20 seconds450f~600f.
  • Infinite Bore Jrs spawn after 233.33 seconds7,000f, delay 50~55 seconds1,500f~1,650f.

Strategy[]

A consistent cheese for at least 1-Crown can be done before THE SLOTH and R.Ost could spawn. Spam meatshields, Supercat, Can Can Cat, Fishman Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat and other rushers for a quick and easy victory. Also recommended is Teacher BearCat, which is both disposable (meaning even if he gets cursed, you can always send another) and can easily kill Bore Jr. or Celeboodle if at level 50, clearing the way for your rushers.

Strategy 1 (1 Crown)[]

Lineup: Awakened Bahamut Cat (40), Teacher BearCat (50), Bullet Train Cat (50), Boulder Cat (30), Can Can Cat (50+7, Level 10 Move Speed UP and Extra Money Talents), Li'l Mohawk Cat, Catasaurus, Necro-Dancer Cat, Skelecat, Hyper Mr.

Both the attackers and the units used in the Research Effect UP Combos are replaceable. If you have access to better alternatives (Bad Guys, Idi:N2, Sanada Yukimura, etc), feel free to replace them if they could help.

At the very start of the stage, it's important to defeat the initial Bore Jr. with Can Can Cat, While the extreme melee damage makes this impossible, Can Can can safely absorb a couple of his mini-waves with the assistance of Boulder Cat in order to land a strike. After that, deploy Bahamut, and then your fast units as soon as possible. This ensures the following Celeboodle can't destroy Bahamut as she will merely hit your shorter-ranged units and move into Bahamut's range, allowing him to neutralize her easily. Typically, Bahamut should also survive one or two mini-waves from Bore Jr. and take him down too. Your attackers should be able to deliver enough damage and destroy the enemy base in time.

Strategy 2 (1, 2 and 4 Crowns)[]

Lineup: Riceball Cat, Teacher BearCat 35+, Courier Cat 50, Green Shell Cat, Idi:N2 40, Awakened Bahamut Cat 50

Notes:

  • The 4 extra slots are reserved for 2 Attack Up (S) combos. If you happen to have Land-Air Assault, then feel free to use it.
  • Green Shell Cat wasn't particularly useful, so you may be able to replace Green Shell Cat with another attacker, such as Jellycat, Hitman Cat, or Supercar Cat.
  • Riceball also wasn't particularly useful, though a tanky Riceball would be recommended.
  • If you use this cheese for 2 crown, then Teacher BearCat must be level 46 or higher.

Wait until you have ~1300¢. Send out Teacher BearCat, which will kill the first Bore Jr. Then, wait until you have ~4400¢, then send out Riceball Cat, and immediately after, Awakened Bahamut Cat. Once the second Bore Jr. is dead, send out Green Shell Cat and Courier Cat. When Celepoodle dies, send out Idi:N2 and another Courier Cat and you should win. If you don't, you can just force close.

Trivia[]

  • Like all Theatre of Fear stages, A Pile of Guts is named after a horror movie, though it was not properly localized. A Pile of Guts' Japanese name is Harawata no Shiryō-shitsu (はらわたの史料室, "Gut Archives"), which sounds similar to the Japanese name of The Evil Dead: Shiryō no Harawata (死霊のはらわた, "Guts of Spirits").
  • Prior to Version 11.5:
    • The first group of Bore Jrs had 8 members instead of 4.
    • The second group of Bore Jrs had 13 members instead of 7, with 10~13.33 seconds between Bore Jrs instead of 15~20.
    • The unlimited Bore Jrs spawned 33.33~36.67 seconds apart instead of 50~55.
