Ackey (デビルカツヤ Debiru Katsuya, Devil Katsuya) is an Aku variant of Tackey that appears in Legend Stages.
Enemy
Like Tackey and Hackey before him, Ackey's attacks can only hit behind his target, resulting in the ability to hit your backliners by using your frontliners as stepping stones. His health is quite low, but he has a Shield that can tank almost nine times as much, thus resulting in very high survivability. The problems don't end here, as Ackey's attack is split into three hits that get progressively weaker but can occasionally freeze your cats in place. Due to the multi-hit, he approximately has a 66% chance of freezing any cats he hits.
Strategy
Depending on the stage in which Ackey appears, it may be worth trying to get a powerful attacker in his range by having said attacker be approached by Ackey while the meatshield line is dangerously close to said attacker. This isn't easy to achieve, but if Bahamut Cat or an Uber with similar features could make it into his blind spot, Ackey's days would be counted. A much less risky way to deal with him is to use short-ranged cats, as anything with less than 200 range will easily reach his blind spot, if they can get past the attack. Short-ranged Shield Piercers such as Talented Li'l Jamiera Cat are particularly effective in dealing with this enemy.
Once Ackey's Shield breaks, it is important to finish the job in as few hits as possible, as failing to skip a knockback basically means having to start over. For this reason, it is recommended to time Awakened Bahamut Cat to finish him, or only using cats with more damage than he has health. If Ackey's Shield regenerates, then you will have to repeat that entire process again or depend on another lucky Shield-Pierce. Thankfully, Ackey's shield can only ever regenerate once.

Trivia
- His Japanese name, Devil Katsuya, is seemingly a mash-up of Kazuya and Tatsuya, twin brothers of the baseball manga Touch, which is also referenced by Tackey's Japanese name and description.
- Just like Tackey's Japanese description, Ackey's mirrors the character of Tatsuya, a high-school baseball player who rose to glory after his brother left him. But where Tatsuya's brother died in a traffic accident, Ackey's twin's death was purely his own doing.
- Devil Katsuya may also be a reference to Tekken antagonist Devil Kazuya.
