Actress Cat (Special Cat)

Actress Cat is a Special Cat introduced in Version 1.0 and is sold for 150 Cat Food once clearing Japan in the Empire of Cats chapter 2. She gains her True Form in Version 3.3 which increases health and attack speed. Along with the rest of the purchasable Special Cats, she received Talents in Version 10.0. In The Battle Cats POP!, she becomes obtainable when clearing Iwate in chapter 2 and costs 17000 XP. In The Battle Cats Unite!, she is purchasable for 75 Cat Food once clearing Mongolia from Into the Future.

Evolves into Mother Cat at level 10.

Evolves into Beefcake Cat when obtained from Actress Awakens! (may drop on the first stage but guaranteed on the second) when it is level 20 or above.

Strategy/Usage

It is not recommended to purchase this cat until you've unlocked Talents. Roll the Rare Cat Capsule instead for a chance to get its stronger variant, Salon Cat. However, if you do purchase this cat, be aware that it is only useful very early on, prior to obtaining Salon, or very late, if heavily talented. Use it alongside meatshields in stages with plenty of money available to build up a stack and deliver high DPS from a distance.

It also has some great combos like Arm Day Everyday, a 4-slot defense combo.

True Form

By the time you unlock Beefcake cat, you'll probably have Paris Cat, meaning that there is no real reason to use this unit. While you can expect to True Form Paris Cat and give her + levels, Beefcake is stuck with much lower damage and no chance to convert dupes into extra levels, which will widen the gap over time.

Talents

Beefcake Cat absolutely needs the boost from his health and damage up Talents in order to be usable, as his stats will not be relevant late-game otherwise. After and only after unlocking those, consider unlocking Evade Surge, a more unique than rare trait for a replaceable attacker which will become very relevant in late game when said threats become prominent. Strengthen is also a nice addition, further increasing his attack power. Slow Resist is expensive and situational, thus not recommended.

Appearance

• Normal Form: The upper body of a female human with a cat face. Wears a bra. Has no lower body.
• Evolved Form: Now has short hair and eight breasts with four small kittens covering her body. Carries a kitten in each hand too.
• True Form: Now looks like the upper part of Macho Leg. It has the muscles of a bodybuilder, wears a speedo and becomes male.

Trivia

• Prior to Version 4.7, Actress Cat was a part of two other Cat Combos: Cover Girl and Baby on Board.
• Beefcake Cat's description references the first half of the famous quote from professional boxer Muhammad Ali: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The hands can't hit what the eyes can't see."
• Actress Cat, Salon Cat, Paris Cat and Mother Cat will aesthetically fit Sexy Legs Cat; Beefcake Cat will do the same with Macho Leg Cat.
• Mother Cat appears to be the mother of kittens with hind legs, despite not having any herself.
• Actress Cat is one of the only two purchasable Special Cats that has their health increased in True Form, the other one being Ultimate Bondage Cat.
• Actress Cat, as well as the rest of the purchasable Special Cats, has her True Form unused in The Battle Cats Unite! The save file can be modified so that it is usable through normal gameplay.
