Strategy/Usage[]
While a little fragile and low on attack power against non-Black enemies, this unit really shines against her targeted trait. Due to how Black enemies usually work, 400 standing range is more than enough to outrange most Black enemies; even Director Kurosawah can be hit with the help of stepping stones that normally already come in any Black based stage. With multi-hit, varying area of damage and Surge in her first attack, normally receiving an attack that would trigger her knockback is a positive, since that means she will restart her attacking animation and drop another Surge, so finding a Tackey or two among the enemy lines can work to your advantage. Be careful with stacks of these, though, as they can rip Kanna apart quite fast. Support from Talented Dark Lazer Cat is pretty useful, as they can target those pesky things with waves. Finally, Two Can is probably the only bad matchup Kanna has against Black, since she's not immune to waves.
The bad thing with Kanna is that the different areas her attacks and Surge land will most likely cause her to fail some of her attacks, however, since Black enemies tend to have many knockbacks, her attacks can be chained against Black enemies one knockback after the other, as well as spreading damage among melee and backliner enemies. Standard measures for Long Distance units that have blind spots should also be taken, but since her second attack hits as close as 250 from her, she has the chance of repelling pushers herself.
On a final note, she's part of the Dream Box combo with Heavy Assault C.A.T. which just so happens to be one of the best combo slaves in the game, so you can combine combos like Dream Box and Working Vacation to get a +20% increase to Massive Damage with just 3 units.
True Form[]
Although Kanna's True Form does not add extra health, power, knockback count, speed or cooldown, she gains Behemoth Slayer, as well as an upgrade to her Surge, going from Lvl.2 to Lvl.3. With all of this, she becomes an abuser of Black/Behemoth enemies. At level 50, she can kill a 100% Ragin' Gory in just 1 attack cycle (assuming all three attacks connect)! And, although Casaurian Darkjo is immune to Surges, the multiplier of Massive Damage and Behemoth Slayer still applies, so if you could keep it away long enough, she'll melt through its 2 million HP quite fast.
In short, she'll be very useful for farming Behemoth Stones as one of the only Ubers with Behemoth Slayer, and her combination of backliner and super backliner attacks with Surge may earn her a spot as a generalist in your deck.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A frowning girl with a bow holding a treasure chest with a small flowing cape and with a belt which a presumably wooden sword is attached to, holding a torch while standing on another treasure chest with arrows, a bear trap and a skull on it. Three floating cats holding lanterns appear around her, along with another creature on the treasure chest she's standing on.
- Evolved Form: Now in full color, the girl now smiling appears with pink hair, a pink bow, a flowing cape in the wind behind her while holding a steel sword. She now wears a skirt and the treasure chest she is holding now is half-way opened with gold and jewelry inside. The treasure chest she is standing on also is opened, revealing an abundance of gold coins along with gems, and the traps and arrows along with the skull have been removed and instead feature crowns, gold and more gems. The creature is now wearing a hat. The floating cats around her now are also in color, with two of them holding small treasure chests with brown hats, while the third cat is holding something wrapped in pink with the cat a yellow hat.
- True Form: Kanna struck gold! She is now winking while wearing a kings robe. The chest is now black with gold accents and overflowing with golden coins while the chest Kanna holds is completely gold. The small pink blob that sits in the chest is now smiling happily. The Cat’s hats are gold as well as the mini chests they carry, with the one the right now wearing a red feathered hat and holding a glass of coins. The swords on the chest are also bigger.

Trivia[]
- Unlike other Girls & Monsters Uber Rares, there's nothing "monstrous" about Kanna in any of her forms; this is because she was the main protagonist of GirlsMons.
- Prior to Version 11.5, Kanna's attacks had an effective range of 300~700 on all three hits.
- Adventurer Kanna was the first Uber to gain the Behemoth Slayer ability.
