Akane Tendo is an Uber Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during the Ranma 1/2 Collaboration Event. She was added in Version 10.4.

Strategy/Usage

Akane Tendo is basically an Uber version of talented Housewife Cat. She has a 30% chance to perform savage blows and similar range to Housewife Cat.

She has relatively average standing range, 250 piercing range, and a blindspot of 250. However, the thing that makes her stand out is her barrier breaker, which has a similar mechanic to Aer. She also gets savage blow, which has a 30% chance to boost her damage by 3x. This boosts her average dps to 5.7k, making her a really useful Long Distance attacker. For reference, Aer has 4.6k dps.

Her many debuff immunities allow her to work as a generalist attacker in situations where other units wouldn’t work, like with stages that feature Croakley or Henry. Her immunity to knockback can be troublesome in some situations and helpful in others, but overall the immunities are a very nice addition.
