Akio Yabe (Rare Cat)

Akio Yabe is a Rare Cat that was added in Version 6.8 and is exclusive to the Power Pro Baseball Collaboration Event. It is acquired after beating any Sophomore Summer stages. His True Form was given in the same update which gains area attack, the ability to perform Wave Attacks and increased health and range, but loses multi-hit and halves damage.

Strategy/Usage

Akio Yabe is essentially useless in all but a few early stages due to rather low stats and Single Target.

True Form

Akio & Gunder CC can be used as a peon clearer for weaker peons (e.g. Doge, Croco, Squire Rel, etc.) although Crazed Gross Cat in all forms is better for this. They can be used in 4-crown stages as a replacement for Crazed Gross, although their wave is shorter and later-game wavers such as Jellycat outclass them completely.
