Strategy

There are two ways you can go about this stage:

• You can focus on taking out Mr. Mer instead of Fallen Bear. This is not recommended, but if you choose to go for this approach, you should bring a heavy hitting Uber. Teacher BearCat can also help a lot to deal chip damage at the Mr. Mer in between his wave attacks.
• You can focus on taking out Fallen Bear instead. If you choose this approach, bring Macho Crystal Cat to knockback Mr. Mer and make room for Aku Researcher to break its Shield. This will only work if you have Macho Crystal Cat's True Form as without its knockback ability, it is useless. Research Power UP combos also help deploy Glass Cat more often so that Mr. Mer stays slowed more often.

Recommended Ubers:

• Obliterator Diabolosa: Works unironically good here with its massive damage against Aku. Especially in true from with it's Attack M Combo (Land-Air Assault). Its 475 range outranges Fallen Bear really good. It is even possible without shield piercer using it, but it will be much harder and is unnecesary.

Besides that, it’s just spam ranged attackers and once the latter dies, just stall the remaining one until it is defeated as well. You should also consider bringing Octopus Cat to shield Mr. Mer’s waves as it is able to continuously knockback Aku Researcher, thus not allowing it to break Fallen Bear’s shield.
