An Ancient Curse

An Ancient Curse is the first level in Uncanny Legends, and the only level in A New Legend. Upon completion, Mecha-Bun can be upgraded to its True Form using Catfruit and XP.

In addition, Legends can be hypermaxed to level 40 using Catseyes, while all other cats (except Normals and Metal Cat) can be hypermaxed to level 50 the same way.

Battleground

• Relic Doges are spawned every so often to screw up the player's stalling.
• Relic Bun-Bun appears as a boss when the enemy base's HP reaches 99%.
• Relic Doges spawn randomly after Relic Bun-Bun spawns.

Strategy

• You can use a strategy similar to what was used for the previous stage, but keep in mind that the boss is not a Floating Enemy this time around.
• Using anti-Relic cats is highly recommended.

Line up: First Row - Three Kings (Catcombo), Awakened Bahamut, Mitama the Oracle

Second row - M. Eraser, Eraser, Metal Cat, M. Macho Legs, Cyberpunk.

Battle Item/s: Rich Cat

Strategy: Use M. Macho Legs to kill the first few Ancient Doges. Do NOT use Metal Cat as a meatshield on the first few Relic Doges. When there's only 1 left, kill M. Macho Legs off and start stacking Cyberpunks. The minimum you can stack to beat the stage is 3. Try to stack up to 4 to make the stage easy. When you're done stacking, send Mitama and start spamming relentless. You can also spam out Madam the Savannah and King Dragon Cat out to help, since they're part of the Catcombo.

After a while, Relic Bun-Bun will fall and you will beat the stage.

Strategy #2

This lineup requires the True Form of Red Riding Mina.

Lineup: Row 1: Eraser Cat, Manic Eraser Cat, Zamboney Cat, Metal Cat, Thaumaturge Cat

Row 2: Awakened Mina, Li'l Nyandam (Crowd Control), Maglev, Ururun Cat, Manic King Dragon

Strategy: Use a similar stalling strategy to the Cyberpunk stacking strategy above. Stall the Relix Doges by weakening the current Doge, then taking it out with Maglev once the next Doge comes. Thaumaturge can help with the stalling. Make sure to lure the Doges close enough so that Awakened Mina doesn't hit the Doges. Once you have stacked a reasonable amount of Minas (around 3 to 4; also make sure they're desynced so they reliably perma-weaken the Bun-Bun). After you've attacked the base just start spamming everything. Maglev can chip, Ururun can have some good knockbacks, MKD can damage. Li'l Nyandam can slow. Thaumaturge, Mina, and your meatshields should do a good job stalling the Bun Bun. No need for items unless you're lazy. The Cat CPU can help with spawning everything. Rich Cat can also help but you'll eventually get max money after the stalling anyway. Speed Up is fine if you don't want to wait, might want to use CPU with Speed Up due to the fact that you might be late on meatshield spamming. Good luck!

Strategy #3

This lineup requires Slapstick Cats. Make sure your cats are high-level as this strat is very likely to fail.

Row 1: Eraser Cat, Manic Eraser Cat, Zamboney Cat, Metal Cat, Thaumaturge Cat

Row 2: Maglev Cat, Slapstick Cats, Cyberpunk Cat, Lufalan Pasalan(Can be substituted with any high damage dealer), Mitama the Oracle

Power-Ups: Rich Cat(helpful, but not needed), CPU(spam helping)

Strategy:Lure the first doge close to your base, then spawn Metal Cat, then Slapstick. Wait for the doge to be knocked back twice then spawn Maglev to kill it. Wait for Maglev to die, then spawn in Cyberpunk. Spawn some erasers, but not too much. You want to kill at least one Relic Doge before Slapstick dies. Use Zamboney to stall the Relic Doges. Thaumaturge can help too. Once you have around $4500, kill off the Relic Doges and spawn Mitama. As your units approach the base, spawn in everything you can except for Maglev and Zamboney. After Relic Bun spawn, spam Eraser and Manic Eraser as well as everything else as hard as you can. If Mitama dies, the strat will most likely fail. Continue spamming until you lose or win with Erasers first then Slapstick.

Strategy 4 (cyberpunk stacking and no uber and no TFs using elder catfruits)

Note: READ THE WHOLE STRATEGY BEFORE DOING IT SO YOU KNOW WHATS HAPPENING AND REFER BACK TO THE STRAT WHEN YOU NEED TO.

Also i didnt make this strategy and i just copied it from a youtube video but i did do the stage this way. (Also the youtube video wil be in the reference part of this wiki page

Row 1: manic mohawk(lv30), manic eraser(30)lv, eraser(lv20+47 or higher), metal cat(lv20), maglev (lv40)

Row 2: cyberpunk cat(around lv30, cant be too high leveled), ururun cat(lv30), manic king dragon (lv40), manic macho (lv30), zamboney or another cheap attacker, (i used king dragon cat)

Items: Sniper the Cat, (required), cat CPU (highly recommended), speed up, (optional and if you bring, it increases the chance of you screwing up)

Cat cannon type: cat cannon

Strategy: Turn off all items and upgrade your worket cat to lv3, and as soon as the relic doge reaches the last pillar in the background thats in front of the base, send out a manic eraser and then a maglev, and then send out a manic eraser as soon as the relic doge kills the manic eraser (as soon as the manic eraser has been knocked back), then send out a manic eraser right before the relic doge attacks the manic eraser the second time (as a relic doge can 2 shot a manic eraser), when maglev hits the second time, start spaming eraser and manic eraser (spawn eraser first and then manic eraser), then as soon as you can spawn another maglev, spawn it, then spawn a manic macho legs and stop spamming erasers (for a super short time, you can spawn them again after you have spawned 2 manic erasers since you stopped spamming the erasers) but keep spawning manic erasers. When both maglevs dies, start spamming manic mohawk, eraser and manic eraser. When one relic doge dies, stop spamming manic mohawk, when another relic doge dies, when the relic doge dies, stop spawning anything and the manic macho should kill the relic doge when another relic doge comes out, if it doesnt and the manic macho dies before killing the relic doge spawn another manic macho and let it kill the relic doge and then let the relic doge that has just come out of the base kill the manic macho legs, then spawn a manic eraser when you have lured the relic doge to your base, the relic doge should be right behind the last pillar in he background thats in front of the base and stall it y having one manic eraser on the batttle field at all times. and continue stalling it while stacking cyberpunks while upgrading your worker cat to lv8 (MAX). You can also turn on speed up if you brought it to speed things up. ALSO THERE ARE RULES AT THE END OF THE STRATEGY AS TO WHETHER OR NOT YOU SHOULD MAGLEV. Then once you have stacked a lot of cyberpunks, do not kill the relic doge using a maglev and make sure that there is no maglev on the battlefield. Also turn off the speed up if you have brought it. Then start spamming your meatshields as well as manic king dragon and let your cyberpunks forward a bit, then spawn an ururn cat and continue meatshielding, once your cats ar hitting the base and relic bun bun has come out, turn on the cat CPU and sniper the cat and hopefully relic bun bu will be perma slowed and will get knocked back by sniper the cat ad ururn and you dont die.

Rules on whther you should maglev:

1. Did the relic doge receive damage by only the waves of maic macho legs, hit it twice with maglev
2. Did the relic doge receive damge from both the waves and the attack of manic macho legs, hit it once with maglev
3. Is the relic doge unharmed (only being hit by manic erasers counts as being unharmed), hit it twice with maglev
4. Did the relic doge get hit by one cyberpuk attack, hit it once with maglev and damage it with the cat cannnon.
5. Did the relic doge receive two cyberpunk attacks, hit it once with maglev
6. Did the relic doge, receive a knockback from your cyberpunk stack, hit it once with maglev
7. Did the relic doge, receive two knockbacks from your cyberounk stack, don't hit it with maglev

Note: Once a new relic doge has come out of the base and is inside of cyberpunk's range, meaning cyberpunk cannot attack it, use maglev to kill the old relic doge, and follow the rules, breaking the rules can result in either you getting killed by the relic doges or you having relic bun bun come out too soon.

Note: Maglev gets two shotted by relic doge so it can act as a manic eraser after following the rules for that relic doge, also you should spawn manic eraser when the relic doge is about to attack the second time on either maglev or manic eraser

Note: if relic doge are hitting the base fire the cat cannon and make sure a manic eraser is spawned right after the relic relic doge is damaged by the cat cannon and the same rules still applies to that relic doge.

Note: When you are low on money, turn off cat CPU and spam manually and turn it on again when you have enough money for cat CPU to continue spamming, as meatshielding takes priority over your attackers. The same goes for if cat CPU stops meatshielding.

Trivia

• This is one of the only stages in the game where the player has a chance of receiving a Treasure Radar, the others being Villains Jungle and Unkept Promises.
