Ancient Egg: N000 is a Special Cat that is unlocked when beating Revival of Origin. It was added in Version 12.0 along with its True Form, which gains Behemoth Slayer, Long Distance attacks, various immunities, much higher overall stats, 1 less speed and Multi-Hit.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

With its combination of stats and abilities, Ape Lord Luza is a powerful backliner and a definitive answer to Relic enemies, especially those it can outrange such as M. Ost or those it can tank like Golem Sunfish. Its most notable targets obviously include Relic-type Behemoths, namely Iguanidae Ibilujon, Ancient Magamojoe (with its Surge Immunity) and Ultima Beast Naala (on higher Crown difficulties). Its Warp/Surge Immunity also helps counter Spiritual Yulala in Infernal Tower Floor 40, as well as Esoteric Uril in Floor 50. Outside of these particular targets, it still works against many Relics and has good generalist stats, while its second Multi-Hit pierces 150 ahead from its 400 range to snipe Behemoths from afar. Note that Awakened Urs tends to have better compatibility against longer-ranged Behemoths (460), and that Luza may not always manage to land both hits, as they occur in a rapid succession and cover different ranges, causing the second hit to miss if the first knocks the enemy back.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom.
• True Form: The egg has hatched into a large muscular albino cat-faced ape that resembles Great Ape Luza. Wears a mask with a Cat's face, colored similarly to the masks worn by Heavenly Tower units' True Forms. Attacks just like Great Ape Luza, but with no symbol on its arms, red eyes and a yellow impact effect rather than green. Additionally, a Cat's face can be seen when knocked back.

Trivia

• Ancient Egg: N000's triple-zero numbering is an allusion to Zero Luza and Zero Legends.
• It is currently the only Ancient Egg with an identifier code of N00X not to drop from an Empress' Excavation map and the only Ancient Egg whose True Form's English name does not contain the word "Cat".
• It is the only Legend Cat whose Meow Medal shows its True Form rather than its Normal Form and the only Uncanny Legends drop unit to have no preview shown when entering Legend Stages, due to being a non-functional unit in its Normal Form as opposed to the others.
• Although it sounds similar to loser, the name Luza (ルーザ) is more likely derived from saru or zaru (猿/サル/ザル), the Japanese word for monkey.
• It is the only Uncanny Legends drop unit whose True Form does not gain Colossus Slayer.
