Ancient Egg: N101 (Rare Cat)

Ancient Egg: N101 is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked from the Catnip Challenges after completing five Behemoth Culling stages. It was added in Version 11.5. True Form massively increases overall stats, lowers cost and recharge time, and gains Behemoth Slayer and Long Distance Area Attacks.

Evolution

Evolves into Cinnabar Egg: N101 at level 10.

Evolves into Courier Cat at level 30 using Behemoth Stone and XP.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Once the egg hatches, the unit that comes out turns out to be one of the most powerful anti-Red Rare Cats. Courier Cat, with his Long Distance and high DPS (a rare combination), does especially well on stages that feature mostly or only Red enemies. Its health is not enough to survive many hits from enemies that reach it, so it must be protected with meatshields or tanky anti-Red units. Units that are Strong or Resistant to Red enemies should be enough in stages that focus on that trait. In other words, it synergizes amazingly with Sushi Cat. In general, though, what he needs is fast meatshields, as he does have a tendency to run ahead a bit too much.

His short recharge time and decent range allow him to be stacked easily, not to mention the Long Distance, allowing for "burst damage" approaches as well. His Behemoth Slayer is nothing to scoff at either, as it makes his stats very high against them, with even a chance to avoid taking damage outright. He's especially good against Casaurian Ahirujo, as his Behemoth Slayer and his Massive Damage combine, giving him over 33k DPS at level 30 with all Blood Fruits, and 52k at level 50! However, he tends to struggle a bit with longer-ranged Behemoths like Crustaceous Scissorex and Ultima Beast Naala.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom, above which there are four black dots, two on each side.
• True Form: The egg hatched into a semi-bald cat who carries a package with a long stick. The package contains a Killer Cat inside.
