Ancient Egg: N102 (Rare Cat)

Ancient Egg: N102 is a Rare Cat that can be obtained from the Catnip Challenges after completing 10 Behemoth Culling stages. It was added in Version 11.5. True Form massively increases overall stats including cost and gains Behemoth Slayer and immunity to slow.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Catarzan is a simple unit, a midrange Area Attacker with good stats and strong against a trait; similar to Macho Leg Cat, but with lower range in exchange for Area Attack. His attacks are also non-stop, with 100% of the attack delay being backswing, so while he is less reliable as a pusher, you won't endanger him by placing him near the frontlines.

Catarzan is best stacked up behind meatshields, but can hold a bit if the line falls. Thanks to his Behemoth Slayer, he can control hordes of Behemoths even better, although his price and medium health keep him from being a safe bet in all situations.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom, above which there are four black dots, two on each side.
• True Form: The egg hatched into a cat that looks much like a caveman. He swings on a rope that hangs down from a floating black portal. Attacks by yelling.
