Ancient Egg: N104 (Rare Cat)

Ancient Egg: N104 is a Rare Cat that can be obtained from the Catnip Challenges after completing 20 Behemoth Culling stages for the first time. It was added in Version 11.6. True Form massively increases overall stats, slightly decreases cost and gains Long Distance Area Attacks, Behemoth Slayer and immunity to Surge Attacks.

Evolves into Green Egg: N104 at level 10.

Evolves into Surgeon Cat at level 30 using Behemoth Stones and XP.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Surgeon Cat serves as an anti-Floating crowd controller, and has some decent stats to boot. Unfortunately for Surgeon Cat, units such as Sanzo Cat, Necro-Dancer Cat and even Angry Delinquent Cat completely outclass them in that department, having vastly superior effects. At best, their Long Distance attacks may enable them to hit enemies they fail to reach.

The best use for Surgeon Cat is to rush into Long Distance enemies' blind spots with their incredibly high speed, but the DPS is much too low for them to do much once they arrives in the blindspot, unless the enemy is floating. DPS-wise, things get slightly better against Behemoths, specifically Pterowl Hazuku. This remains quite irrevelant, as the infamous Courier Cat and the other eggs work better in every way. Overall, a very shabby unit, and not worth the high cost unless you have Behemoth Stones to spare.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom.
• True Form: A Cat dressed like a Surgeon wearing a mask. Attacks by throwing scalpels.
