Ancient Egg: N105 (Rare Cat)

Ancient Egg: N105 is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked from the Catnip Challenges after completing 25 Behemoth Culling stages for the first time. It was added in Version 11.8. True Form grants Behemoth Slayer, Long Distance, Slow immunity, higher cost and improved overall stats.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Racquet Cat, despite having Behemoth Slayer, doesn't have the stats to work against them at all. Her matchups against Alien Behemoths are poor, since she can reset Crustaceous Scissorex' attack animation, and Suidae Piggicus is Immune to Knockback. Instead, she is best used against groups of standard Aliens; she can quite effectively counter the pushing power of Star Pengs, Mesocosmocyclone, Cyberhorn and the like thanks to her quick attacks with good piercing range, especially when non-Alien enemies are also present to trigger the attacks and maintain the frontline, such as on Extinction's Vortex.

Although the ability can be used to great effect, inconsistent knockbacks still get in the way of other attackers, limiting Racquet Cat's usefulness and making her hardly worth all those Behemoth Stones.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom.
• True Form: A cat holding a tennis racket. She has messy grey hair, a white dress and a light grey wristband. She attacks by first launching a tennis ball and then striking with the racket.
