Ancient Egg: N106 is a Rare Cat that can be obtained from the Catnip Challenges after completing 30 Behemoth Culling stages for the first time. It was added in Version 11.8. True Form grants Behemoth Slayer, Wave Immunity, increased cost, and improved overall stats.

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Much like Courier Cat against Casaurian Ahirujo, Massive Damage in tandem with Behemoth Slayer results in truly insane DPS against Angel Behemoths like Angelic Beast Rajakong, enough to counter the beast's also insanely high stats. Although Mushroom Cat has fairly short range, it’s more than enough to outrange Rajakong's Omni Strike (only hits up to 250), and its wave immunity allows Mushroom Cat to stay safe from its occasional wave attacks, resulting in a very powerful counter. Outside of this enemy, Mushroom's medium speed and area attacks allow it to work well against Angel pushers, many of which have low range. It finds even greater use when paired with the likes of Sanzo or Ramen, able to easily eradicate Gabriel, Boraphim, Angelic Gory, Youcan and even St. Dober. Against other traits, the large amount of competition from higher ranged units, cheaper ones or more spammable ones results in him being rarely the best choice. It also works well as a general wave immune attacker, as its above-average stats allow it to counter wave enemies in stages where wave shields don’t fair well.

He doesn't work well at all against foes that can hit behind their target with any means that isn't waves, nor against enemies that outrange him, like Angelic Sleipnir.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom.
• True Form: It seems to look like an agaric mushroom with a Cat's face on it, the cap has spikes that resembles cat ears. Attacks by blowing spores from its mouth.
