Ancient Egg: N110 (Rare Cat)

Not to be confused with Farmer Cat.

Ancient Egg: N110 is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked from the Catnip Challenges after completing 50 Behemoth Culling stages for the first time. It was added in Version 12.5. True Form increases cost and recharge time, but improves almost all other attributes, is immune to Wave Attacks and has Behemoth Slayer.

Evolves into Farmboy Cat at level 30 using Behemoth Stones and XP.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Farmboy Cat can be used similarly to Talented Sanzo Cat, but with higher range in exchange for having Single Target instead of Area Attack. Because of this, Farmboy Cat will have a difficult time dealing with swarms of enemies such as Gabriel and Mr. Angel, or enemies with lower range as they absorb Farmboy's attacks.

Fortunately, with an excellent uptime of over 350% and higher range of 350, Farmboy Cat has his own excellent niche against Angelic Beast Rajakong: Farmboy can keep Rajakong at bay as the beast tends to push hard with other enemies, while keeping himself alive thanks to his wave immunity and high range. The main issue, however, is that Rajakong is the only Angel Behemoth in the game, and Mushroom Cat already can be obtained earlier for countering the very Behemoth in offensive usage. Aside from countering Rajakong, he will seek more usage in later stages of the game where less peons are spammed in favor of more big enemies spawning, becoming a better choice over a talented Sanzo Cat in certain cases thanks to the perks mentioned above, being able to slow Boraphim, Winged Pigge and Lutrinae Gokurakko easily provided there aren't peons getting in the way of attacks.

You should still acknowledge its evolution price since it spends very valuable Behemoth Gems.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom.
• True Form: A chubby Cat wearing a farmer's clothes, a hat while holding a pitchfork. Additionally, the tail is what looks like wheat. Attacks by stabbing into the enemy with a pitchfork.

Trivia

• While the Japanese names of Farmboy Cat and Farmer Cat can both be translated as "Cat Farmer", they aren't exactly the same, as they use different words to say "Farmer". Farmboy Cat uses ファーマー fāmā (a transliteration of the English word farmer), while Farmer Cat uses 農家 nōka (the Japanese word for farmer).
• In the French translation of The Battle Cats, Farmboy Cat and Farmer Cat are both named "Chagriculteur", a portmanteau of chat (cat) and agriculteur (farmer).
