Ancient Egg: N203 is a Special Cat that can be obtained from the June Bride of the Devil event. It was added in Version 12.4.

Evolves into Violet Egg: N203 at level 10.

Evolves into Clown Cat at level 30 using Behemoth Stones and XP.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

These forms are useless by design. Similarly to the other Ancient Eggs, this unit is not meant to be used before its True Form.

True Form

Clown Cat can be used like an anti-Zombie Cat Gunslinger. Just like Gunslinger, despite having a low slow chance, they can be stacked to slow their targeted trait with decent effectiveness. The problem with this unit is that slow against Zombies isn't great, due to it not being able to prevent zombies from burrowing. In addition, if a Zombie burrows into Clown Cat's range, Clown Cat will likely die due to their unimpressive health and DPS. You're going to be better off using units like Gardener or Welterweight Cat for crowd controlling Zombies.

With that being said, there isn't really any reason not to use Clown Cat along with other Zombie crowd controllers such as Vaulter Cat, which they have great synergy with due to them being able to cover Vaulter's blindspot. It is also worth mentioning that they have Soulstrike. While this may sound good, Soulstrike actually hurts Clown Cat as a unit since stopping in front of a corpse means that they're not attacking other units that could be affected by their crowd control. Clown also has horrid DPS, meaning that they'll struggle to kill enemy corpses anyway. Their behemoth slayer can be outright ignored since there are very few zombie behemoths, and it stands no chance against those few. Overall, Clown Cat can be used in many early game Zombie stages, but becomes obsolete at late game as Zombies that outrange it become more prevalent and superior Zombie crowd controllers are unlocked.

Appearance

• Normal Form: An egg-shaped object covered in soil and vegetation.
• Evolved Form: Cleaning it up has revealed its true coloration. It now looks like some sort of futuristic capsule, with an X-like symbol engraved in the middle. Some soil still clings to the bottom.
• True Form: Appears like a clown having red hair, a red nose and a black collar. They also hold a red balloon.

• Clown Cat's appearance and red balloon is likely a reference to Pennywise, the main antagonist of "It". This is backed by it appearing in a generally horror-themed event and "shocking patrons to a near heart attack."
