Ancient Magamojoe (超古獣マガモジョー, Chō Kojū Magamojō, Super Ancient Beast Magamojō) is a Relic/Behemoth variant of Duche that appears in Legend Stages.
Enemy[]
This dastardly duck has enormous health and attack power, and though his Multi-Hit works the same as that of Casaurian Ahirujo and Darkjo, those in the range of the last hit are damaged the most. Additionally, he has a 50% chance to spawn a Level 2 Surge Attack on his last hit that could appear anywhere up to 750 range. Combined with his immunities to Knockback, Slow, and even Surges, this enemy can ravage both your frontline and backline if not defeated fast enough.
Strategy[]
Magamojoe pushes even harder than his other variants, and his Relic trait makes him quite the handful, as few accessible units could counter Relic Behemoths, not to mention the presence of other support units, like Elephantidae Papaou or R.Ost, that can block usual counters like Idi:N2 (although her Surge immunity allows her to sprint past and deal heavy damage just as Magamojoe's multi-hits conclude) and Surges wiping out your weaker units. It's also very difficult to regain ground against his Knockback and Slow immunities, so in many cases you would prefer luring him with better positioning. Having Awakened Doron, Awakened Naala, and Reborn Warrior Doguemon will definitely ease the fight, thanks to their anti-Relic/Behemoth abilities coming into play and allowing them to somewhat tank him.

Trivia[]
- The name Magamojoe is derived from magamo (the Japanese word for the mallard duck), mojo (plural mojos or mojoes; a magic spell or hex, referencing his Curse ability) and Ibirujō (the Japanese name of Monster Hunter's Deviljho). Like Magamojoe, both male mallard ducks and Deviljho have a prominent green coloration.
- His crest, beak shape, arms and feathers are all based on those of Kulu-Ya-Ku, a Bird Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter World. Fittingly, Kulu-Ya-Ku is a very early-game monster, and Magamojoe debuts in the very first stage of Zero Legends. He lacks the "Casaurian" prefix and looks more distinct from Casaurian Ahirujo and Darkjo because Kulu-Ya-Ku, unlike Yian Garuga, is not a close relative of Yian Kut-Ku.
- His Japanese description is a reference to the Star of the Giants character Ittetsu Hoshi, who also looks after three children, has a cruel and unorthodox style of education, and is very infamous for a scene where he slapped his son Hyūma and knocked over the dinner table at the same time.
- He and Ultima Beast Naala are the only Behemoths to share the same title in their Japanese names. Both are titled Chō Kojū (超古獣, "Super Ancient Beast").
- It can be assumed that Ancient Magamojoe's three children are the three Bird Brothers mentioned in Casaurian Darkjo's description.
