This stage relies on filling the entire field with small peons, then spawning threatening ones that allow the two bosses to push and eat away at any ground gained. With everything spawning on a timer, it's crucial to strike fast and hard earlier on, then defend viciously without letup, hopefully outlasting the onslaught to achieve victory.

Recommended Units[]

  • Haniwa Cat - Haniwa is a cheap meatshield with resistance to Traitless enemies and Behemoth Slayer. It falters against everything else, but considering the prevalence of traitless threats, Haniwa is still good to bring for stalling them. At level 43 or above, Haniwa's matchup gets even better as it is able to survive one strengthened hit from a 100% Cumulus Gallus, allowing it to bait another attack and keep the field clogged.
  • Reborn Warrior Doguemon - This unit, though a midranged tank with decent damage output on its own, works for the same reason as Haniwa, being resistant to Traitless and Relic threats with Behemoth Slayer and Curse Immunity. Most enemies within this stage are within its target traits, and its powerful attacks can leave a dent in all of the Behemoths here. It does require a bit of support against Formicidaean Ariant, however, as it has a fairly long delay between attacks and a slow animation.
  • Awakened Doron - Doron is a suicide unit that destroys himself after one attack, but his massive health ensures he'll get there and spawn his level 3 Surge Attack. Being Immune to Curse, his 5-second Freeze and Knockback against Relics are both extremely helpful in delaying Great Ape Luza, and considering most Behemoths in this stage are vulnerable to Surges, Doron is also able to land some serious damage on them. He must be used with caution, however, as his cooldown is fairly long.
  • Awakened Naala - Naala is Strong Against Relics, with 100% chance of a 4-second weaken to 50% and Behemoth Slayer, all of which mesh exceptionally well with its far-reaching LD attacks that can snipe and cripple Luza behind the lines, with everything else never escaping its wrath. Even if Naala's own low standing range is factored in, peons in the stage often allow it to exploit its LD at ease.

Strategy 1[]

A high-leveled Haniwa Cat (43+, such that it survives a single strengthened hit from Cumulus Gallus) can see some use here; while the stage is long and Haniwa Cat is able to clog the Cat Deploy Limit, it performs fantastically against Cumulus Gallus and Wild Doges. It will work against the other Traitless peons, but it's not going to hold up against Great Ape Luza.

The Formicidaean Ariants don't appear very frequently, but you should have something to deal with them like Cadaver BearCat, as even one getting an attack off could cause problems.

Use "Research" Effect UP Combos to spam Courier Cats.

Strategy (4 Crown Restrictions)[]

Lineup: Biohazard, Bony Bone, Future Cat 50, Cadaver BearCat 50, Courier Cat 50, Cat Egg Pod 50, Awakened Doron 50, Reborn Warrior Doguemon 50, Awakened Naala 50

  • Cat Egg Pod can be replaced with Green Shell Cat.

Use the supporting enemies to garner a lot of money early on. Send out Reborn Warrior Doguemon first to better stall all the incoming enemies. When Formicidean Ariant spawns, start sending Cadaver BearCat to intercept them. Two hits from them should be able to stop Formicidean Ariant from exploding every time. Once you acquire a lot of money, spam everything and you essentially win.
