Battle Items are special items that can be bought in the Store using Cat Food. They generally improve your performance in battles, or increase convenience in some fashion. Battle Items can also be gained from Gamatoto Expedition and dropped in Legend Stages.

Speed Up[]

SpeedUp
English Version: Doubles your Battle speed.
Gold Card Officers receive 3x battle speed!
(Tap icon to toggle ON/OFF during battle.)

Japanese Version: 戦闘スピードが2倍速になります
戦闘中アイテムをタップすれば
ON・OFFが可能

  • Cost: 50 Cat Food (25 during the sale event) for 9 items; in the 3DS version, 1 Speed Up costs 1 Cat Food.
  • Usage: A Speed Up can be activated or deactivated at any time, and does what the description says - Everything happens in battle twice as fast (including timed score depletion, movement speeds, recharge rates, spawn frequencies and attacks), however it can be used to beat long stages like Absolute Defence or Flappy Cat faster, or just to grind faster. Supplied in unlimited quantities for Catclaw Dojo stages by default. Having the Officers' Club Gold Pass provides unlimited Speed Ups and improves their multiplier to 3x. Note that this multiplier also works in the Catclaw Dojo and Underground Labyrinth due to the infinite, free Speed Ups. Note that after Version 8.4, Speed Ups are the only items that carry over to Continuation Stages.
  • Obtained: Tuesday Stage or Tuesday Blitz Stage.

Treasure Radar[]

TreasureRadar
English Version: 100% reward drop rate upon a Victory in battle.
Guaranteed to receive Superior Treasure
or Cat Unit, or XP/Catfruit stage drop reward.

Japanese Version: お宝出現率アップ!
勝利すれば100%の確率で
最高のお宝をゲットすることができる

  • Cost: 90 Cat Food (45 during the sale event) for 2 items; in the 3DS version, 1 Treasure Radar costs 3 Cat Food.
  • Usage: Treasure Radar should be used for getting the 3% legend drops (Ururun Wolf, Li'l Nyandam, etc), as well as Advent stages, to avoid having to redo such difficult stages for an otherwise elusive reward. Their use is further advised on Merciless XP and Archfiend's Temptation to get extremely high XP drop rewards; otherwise do not use them for XP Guerrilla Stages. These items are extremely valuable because there is no weekly stage for it - hence, usage on most other stages are inadvisable, and you should experiment with your strategy until it could comfortably clear the stage. Lucky Ticket stages and occasional events are the best way to obtain these. Using a Treasure Radar on an invalid stage (such as those lacking rewards in the first place or already had their rewards claimed) will instead reward another copy of itself on stage clear, effectively refunding it.

Rich Cat[]

RichCat
English Version: Worker Cat starts the battle at MAX Level.
Seize the advantage in battle without needing
to spend money on upgrading Worker Cat!

Japanese Version: 戦闘開始時から働きネコのレベルが
MAX状態でスタートします

  • Cost: 150 Cat Food (75 during the sale event) for 7 items; in the 3DS version, 1 Rich Cat costs 2 Cat Food.
  • Usage: The Rich Cat is very effective in hard stages; the player can save money for expensive Cat Units, instead of spending funds on quickly upgrading the Worker Cat. Additionally, since Worker Cat starts at max level, money generation is faster, which is especially useful on rush stages and cheese strats. It is not useful in stages where you can stall easily since you would be able to upgrade the Worker Cat eventually. The Rich Cat is most effective when used on short stages or stages with a really difficult start. Has priority over Worker Start Level UP Combos and will override their effects.
  • Obtained: Monday Stage or Monday Blitz Stage.

Cat CPU[]

CatCPU
English Version: Leave the battle to the Cat CPU!
It's only useful to a point, having been
programmed by mere Cats, but it's just advanced enough
to handle stages you've previously cleared.

Japanese Version: ネコ型CPUが戦闘をやってくれます
ネコ型なので性能は期待できない
アイコンを追加タップすると性能が超アップして
「Clear!」ステージの戦闘をスキップできます

  • Cost: 180 Cat Food (90 during the sale event) for 20 items; in 3DS version, 1 Cat CPU costs 1 Cat Food.
  • Usage: The player can use this item to spawn units immediately when their recharge is complete, which is useful when the player needs to meatshield for a long time, or spam many units, such as on Wrath of the Dogelord and Absolute Defense. Because of its expensive nature, it only works if your economy is going well. The CPU can be activated or disengaged at will. Another unlisted effect is that it will fire the cat cannon automatically, which can become a serious hazard if it needs to be saved for something else.
  • Starting from Version 12.5, after beating Hawaii in Empire of Cats Chapter 1, tapping the Cat CPU twice will turn it golden. The golden CPU can instantly clear most stages, along with granting any Treasure or drop rewards, and can even be used with Treasure Radar/Cat Jobs to grant their effects as well, saving the player time and energy for particularly difficult stages, such as Realm of Carnage. This feature will consume two Cat CPUs, and can be used up to ten times per day. Tapping the Cat CPU again while it is golden turns it off again.
    • Stages that cannot be skipped by the golden CPU include: stages that haven't been cleared or have been reset, Catclaw Dojo, Challenge Battle, Underground Labyrinth, Mining Epic, and Growing Evil. Stages that do not yield the default "You cannot skip battles you have not cleared yet" message will instead respond with "No skipping battles fur this stage! Meows the time to fight with your own strength!"
    • Because the player doesn't actually enter battle and does not require a formation, any Cat Combos (such as Good Jobs!) have no effect.
    • The golden CPU will not increase the Timed Score on any stages it clears, and will not allow access to a Continuation Stage.
  • Obtained: Friday Stage or Friday Blitz Stage.

Cat Jobs[]

CatJobs
English Version: Recieve 1.5 times more XP than usual
upon stage clear. Use on stages with
large XP rewards to get the most value!

Japanese Version: 戦闘終了後に得られる経験値が
1.5倍になります

Sniper the Cat[]

SnipertheCat
English Version: Pushes back enemies with cover fire. Attack
power changes dependent on Cat Base health.
(Tap icon to toggle ON/OFF during battle.)

Japanese Version: スナイパーが援護射撃をしてくれます
弾が当たると必ずヒットバック
攻撃力は城の体力に比例します

  • Cost: 90 Cat Food (45 during the sale event) for 3 items; In the 3DS version, 1 Sniper Cat costs 2 Cat Food.
  • Usage: Sniper the Cat fires a Single Target projectile that, on a successful hit (meaning Barriers and Shields can block it entirely), forces the struck enemy to be knocked back and have their attack animation reset. It doesn't do much damage past Empire of Cats, though it isn't meant for damage. Can't harm the enemy base. Attack power is 5% of the Cat Base's max health. Sniper can be disabled or enabled manually once in battle by tapping on the item's icon in the top right. It also works against Knockback immune enemies, which is a great way to stall them.
  • Obtained: Thursday Stage or Thursday Blitz Stage.

Trivia[]

  • In the English Version, the Cat CPU still uses its old description when viewed from the Item Store.
