I saw D'artanyan and did the math. He clocks in at ~9.8k DPS against traited foes. I then wondered what the highest DPSing cat is. So...this. I'm trying to figure out what cat is the best DPSer, and I'd like help. Range must be above 200 so Yukimura and A. Bahamut are out
(Assume the cats are at level 30 with all treasures maxed out, including ItF and CotC so Massive Damage is *4 instead of *3)
To clarify, this is DPS, not damage. DPS is Damage Per Second- if the unit were continously dealing damage, this is how much it would do a second. DPS is found through the following equation:
d=p/(t+a)
d=DPS p=Power or Damage, t=Time between attacks, a=Attack Animation time. So DPS=Damage divided by (Time between attacks+Animation time). If a unit has massive damage, act as though there are no catcombos but the ItF fruit is in effect; d=(p*4)/(t+a).
A frame is a 30th of a second, so just do frames divided by 30 for t and a.
I don't remember what Strong is after ItF fruit, can someone tell me?
There are 2 categories I am looking at:
1. Highest Potential DPS: This is the DPS you have when everything lines up just right. This is Kasa Jizo against an angel, Immortal Shingen against Aliens, Tecoluga landing a critical, Ganesh with Strengthen on, etc. This is where the *4 for Massive Damage and *2 for Critical hit comes into effect.
2. Highest Base DPS: This is when it not work so good. This is the DPS for when a unit attacks a foe that they do not get a bonus for. Units that only hit certain types are excluded because THEY WILL DO NOTHING (so no Immortal Shingen, no Klay, etc.). It is also when a crit doesn't land, the MD isn't applying to that, etc. So if Diabolic Gao hits a red enemy, or Jizo hits an alien, or Hayabusa doesn't crit. Just use the d=p/(t+a).
All cats can be considered, Super and Uber and Special alike.
CURRENT POTENTIAL CHAMP
Diabolic Gao 20853.33 DPS (!!)
CURRENT BASE CHAMP
Diabolic Gao 5213 DPS
