Brainwashed Axe Cat (Super Rare Cat)

Brainwashed Axe Cat is a Super Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during Seasonal Gacha Events or the Miracle Selection event. It was added in Version 11.2 and is the Valentines variant of Axe Cat. True Form added in Version 12.7 increases health and grants a level 1 Mini-Wave.

Evolution

Evolves into Brainwashed Brave Cat at level 10.

Evolves into Brainwashed Dark Cat when obtained from Hyperberserker (Insane) and is level 20 or above.

Strategy/Usage

Like the original Axe Cat, Brainwashed Axe Cat suffers from its extreme cost efficiency issue, making it just as useless against Traitless enemies as traited ones. The same applies for its curse ability as Traitless enemies tend to be stat-based rather than ability-focused, greatly reducing the amount of relevant targets (Henry, Croakley, Mr. Mole, etc.). Even if these enemies are put aside, others are either too weak (Doge, Snache, etc) or have enough brute force (R.Ost, etc) to nullify its niche. Needless to say, it is of no use other than collection. Even considering its potential as a meatshield, it's heavily outclassed by Haniwa Cat and even a unit in its own set, Brainwashed Tank Cat.

True Form

This unit doesn't change much in its True Form. It gains a health boost and guaranteed level 1 mini-wave. This does extend its attack range and curse ability, but overall contributes little, and as such it remains outclassed by vastly superior alternatives.
