Strategy/Usage[]
Brainwashed Cat is a useful meatshield created almost specifically to combat Black and Aku enemies, with its 30% chance to dodge their attacks, although it will be destroyed immediately if it doesn't dodge. Its fast cooldown and cheap cost does alleviate this somewhat, especially in cases where tanking is infeasible or if its targeted traits have hard pushers that can nullify traditional meatshielding.
Unlike Suntan Cat, who works in much the same way with a different trait targeted, Brainwashed Cat is very usable outside of his specialization, having a cost only barely higher than Cat's and almost twice the speed.
True Form[]
In True Form, this unit gains doubled health, targets Relic enemies and is now Immune to Curse. The health improvement does very little, as this unit can't usually survive the nasty pushers within its target traits if it doesn't dodge. However, the fact that Relics often boast extreme stats means it ends up being much more useful, as dodge can completely nullify their pushing power when it does occur, and with how frequently it can be deployed, Relic enemies may barely even move if you keep up with other sources of support. Curse Immunity, though not vital to its role (dodge still triggers on curse-inflicting attacks, negating the curse effect, and when it doesn't dodge, the unit is likely destroyed), it does further expand its utility in stages containing the Relic Doge Base with enemies of its target traits, ultimately adding a great deal of utility to a somewhat niche unit.
