Strategy[]
Strategy 1[]
Lineup: Manic Mohawk Cat, Manic Eraser Cat, Eraser Cat, Shigong Cat, Li'l Flying Cat/Cadaver BearCat, Octopus Cat, Can Can Cat, Roe Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat. Use the last slot for a rusher of your choice.
When killing the Coffin Zoges, you have to be very careful with how many units you deploy to trigger the enemies hidden inside the base. Since both Li'l Flying and Cadaver BearCat are slower than Manic Mohawk, you can use him to trigger the base. Just spam him while the Coffin Zoges are out, and when they die, it'll work. Stack Roe Cats, Can Can Cats and Octopus Cats on the Berserkory. Once Berserkory dies, send out Awakened Bahamut to kill the base. Use the Breakerblast Cannon for the Dread Bores, if they get too close.
Strategy 2 (3 crown Cheese ft Warlock and Pierre)[]
Lineup: Bony Bone, Biohazard, Manic Eraser Cat 50, Eraser Cat 20+75 (20+ 90 recommended), Green Shell Cat 50, Warlock and Pierre 50, any attack up or starting level Catcombo recommended, any zombie killer with slow time between attacks or movement speed. Use the last slot for another weak meatshield of your choice
Recommended Cat Cannon: Breakerblast
Firstly, Start spawning Manic Erasers to hold the Coffin Zoges for at least a few seconds, then continue the spam using also Eraser Cats. When you have enough money, deploy Warlock and Pierre. The Coffin Zoges have enough stacked damage to one shot maxed Eraser Cat, which is why you might need another meatshield like Mohawk Cat or Boogie/Samba Cat (Gato Amigo could desync Coffin Zoges). If the Coffin Zoge stack inches close to your Warlock and Pierre, use breakerblast to knock the stack back and Green Shell to hold the frontline for ~5 seconds. You need at least 2 synced W & P's to destroy the base. If you somehow can't get the Coffin Zoges to the enemy base, stop your meatshield spam and summon your anti-zombie to kill the stack, but be careful, even without a boss knockback if the base is hit too early the W & P stack might miss the base, so it is easier with a unit like the Iron Legion Uber Rare Ultra Atlantis Logistix to kill the Coffin Zoges without unnecessarily triggering the base. When the base is destroyed, you've basically won. Enjoy not having to suffer this stage again in 3 Crown!
Trivia[]
- Like all Unearthed Artifacts stages, Brave Dog's Bone's Japanese name references an idiom. In this case, the name Inu mo Arukeba Bōn (犬も歩けばボーン, "Even a Walking Dog Could be a Bone") is a play on the idiom Inu mo arukeba bō ni ataru (犬も歩けば棒に当たる, "Even a dog could hit a stick when walking"), used to say that if one takes action rather than sitting still, they may have good luck. However, it can also be interpreted as "Even a dog could be hit with a stick [by a person] when walking", meaning that misfortune can always strike no matter what one does.
