Bronze Cat is a Rare Cat that was added in Version 2.0 and can be unlocked when beating Heaven of Darkness. True Form increases attack power, range, grants full backswing and knockback chance at the cost of a longer delay between attacks. In The Battle Cats POP!, Bronze Cat is obtainable when rolling the Rare Cat Capsule after clearing stage 48 in Chapter 1. In The Battle Cats Unite!, it is unlocked when beating Broton.

Strategy/Usage[]
Bronze Cat is a decent support unit against Metals in the early game when you lack alternatives. It can be very useful against tough Metal enemies like Metal Cyclone or Sir Metal Seal, and has the health to tank one or two hits from tougher Metal enemies. Overall, however, Clockwork Cat and Drumcorps Cat are still more reliable. Aside from reliability, knockbacks are a double-edged sword against Metal enemies. On the one hand, the ability to keep them from advancing is generally nice, especially due to the lack of Metal backliners. However, there are some situations where doing so is disadvantageous, such as knocking a potential target out of Waitress Cat's range while she goes through her long attack animation, or knocking a more threatening enemy behind more annoying peons such as Metal Doge. As Critical Hitters already tend to rely on heavy luck, Bronze Cat may end up being counterproductive instead.
True Form[]
Quizmaster Cat gains 30 more range, more attack power, and an extra 10% chance to knockback Metal enemies but has a significantly slower attack rate. The range buff can be helpful in some certain cases, like now being able to outrange Super Metal Hippoe, but the attack buff can be ignored as this unit is not meant for general use, and the attack rate penalty outweighs the marginally higher activation chance, greatly reducing its consistency.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A scholar-like humanoid cat that has black legs and is made of bronze (the bluish-green colour gives it away).
- Evolved Form: The cat is now referencing Dying Slave, the sculpture by Michelangelo. Attack animation remains similar to Butterfly Cat's.
- True Form: The cat is no longer a statue! It wears a red suit, a red top hat with white stars and a blue bow tie. The block has a blue and white stripes with a Cat symbol accompanied by multiple tiny stars over its head. Attacks by slamming the button, followed by a paddle with a red circle popping up from the hat and the cat breaking the block.

Trivia[]
- Prior to Version 4.7, Bronze Cat was a part of another Cat Combo called Precious Metals.
- During the 9th Anniversary event, Quizmaster Cat could be seen by opening the doors in the Cat Base Menu.
- The triumphant pose Bronze Cat and Quizmaster Cat strike after attacking is the Colombia Pose, a Japanese Internet meme which originated from the quiz show Panel Quiz Attack 25. The blue button turning red in Quizmaster Cat's animation is done in Japanese-style quiz/game shows to symbolize that the person has answered correctly. Thus, the cat is triumphing.
- The line, "although the questions are pretty easy," in Quizmaster Cat's description can also be applied to Panel Quiz Attack 25. In fact, it became a meme because of how many easy questions the original Colombia Poser got wrong despite ultimately winning.
- Quizmaster Cat's overall attire is reminiscent of Uncle Sam, a personification of the United States government. The colour theme supports this in a way.
- In The Battle Cats POP!, Michelangelo Cat is called David Cat.
- In The Battle Cats Unite!, Bronze Cat's description states that she is female.
