Chapter 2[]

Any cheap Barrier Breaker can be used, not just Loincloth Cat.

The Lingerie Special Combo can be replaced by any two units of your choice, such as another meatshield and Castaway Cat.

At the beginning, let Kid Tappa get close to the Cat Base, then start spamming meatshields and deploy a couple Barrier Breakers. From there, simply spam everything but the Combo units and the Barrier Breaker; a stack of Macho Legs and Crazed UFOs alone can provide most of the firepower you need. Send out another Barrier Breaker or two around ~48 seconds into the battle, when the second Kid Tappa spawns.

Chapter 3[]

Recommended Levels: At least level 30 for the meatshields, but level 30+ is recommended for all of the cats.

Start the stage by upgrading the Worker Cat to level 2, then let the Shibalien and Kroxo get 2/3 of the way towards your base. Once they are there, buy a Manic Eraser Cat and a Seafarer Cat. Start spamming Manic Mohawk Cats and Manic Eraser Cats By now a General GreGory and a Kid Tappa will have spawned. Spawn a few Kendo Cats and keep spawning Seafarer Cats to freeze the General GreGories and Kid Tappas. Start spawning Chill Cats and Neo Psychocats so the General GreGories get knocked back and slowed. By now you'll hopefully have a decent stack of Chill Cats, Seafarer Cats and Neo Psychocats. Once you've pushed most of the General GreGories and Kid Tappas back, a Mesocosmocyclone will have spawned. The stack of Chill Cats and Seafarer Cats will perma-freeze it and kill it pretty fast, but if you start losing ground, start spawning Cyborg Cats as well.

Trivia[]

  • The trifecta of Buutara, Magellanic and Moskandag all reference Space Battleship Yamato:
    • Buutara's name in Japanese (ブータラ星 Būtara-sei) is spelled similarly to that of the planet and solar system Beemela (ビーメラ星 Bīmera-sei), and on the map it looks like the head of one of the humanoid insects that inhabit Beemela 4.
    • Moskandag's name in Japanese (モスカンダグ Mosukandagu) is spelled almost the same as that of the planet Iscandar (イスカンダル Isukandaru), which is located in the Large Magellanic Cloud and once sent a mission to Beemela 4.
      • Moskandag's Treasure, Hope, references Iscandar's role throughout the series, and the person on its enemy base looks similar to Takuya Kimora's portrayal of Susumu Kodai in the 2010 live-action movie.
      • The two kana in Moskandag's Japanese name that aren't in Iscandar's are モ Mo and グ gu; if you combine these two characters, you get モグ Mogu, which sounds very close to the main threat Corporal Weyland's Japanese name, Captain Moguu (キャプテン・モグー).
  • Buutara's name may also be a reference to Majin Buu from the anime and manga series Dragon Ball. This is further supported by the Treasure received from the stage, Humanoids.
