Cat Bros is a Special Cat that was added in Patch 1.0.0 of The Battle Cats Unite! It was used as promotional material to celebrate the Japanese release of The Battle Cats Unite! The window of availability was only during the first three months after the game's launch and would require players to clear Korea from the Empire of Cats. Later on, it was reused as promotional content to celebrate the release of Versus Mode and was part of the Limited Edition The Battle Cats Unite Combo Case. As of December 2021, a standalone physical version was distributed that contained a "Package Version Bonus" that is currently available only to Japanese and Southeast Asia versions.

Strategy/Usage[]
Cat Bros' stats are comparable to that of Chalkboard Eraser Cat except it has faster movement speed and actual damage output. If players were to have immediate access to this unit, it would be a strong specialized meat shield against reds in Empire of Cats and early Stories of Legends chapters thanks to its resistance against red enemies. However, this unit immediately falls short as a viable unit in the rest of the Main Chapters and Stories of Legends due to its abysmal base stats since it was tailored to fight off red enemies. Not only that, but it's cost-to-effectiveness ratio is poor since it has a long cooldown for a meat shield and has multiple knockbacks which effectively worsens its role.
If a new player were to have access with this unit, strategizing with this unit is very easy: put it into your lineup if there are red enemies. It has workable stats that new players would not feel cheated in when using it in the early sections of The Battle Cats Unite, but it should be noted that using better, more generalized meat shields is much more favorable in this version. Just like any of the Corocoro collaboration units, its final purpose once becoming unviable on the battlefield is becoming user rank dump.
