During every battle, the player must deploy Cat Units (also known as just Cats) in order to defeat Enemy Units and destroy their base. The Basic Cat is the only Cat Unit available at the start of the game, but more can be unlocked by playing Cat Capsules or beating stages. As of 13.7, there are over 700 different Cat Units.

Rarity[]
Cat Units are sorted into six different rarities: Normal, Special, Rare, Super Rare, Uber Super Rare and Legend Rare. Rarer cats tend to be more powerful, but also cost more to deploy and recharge slower. There are also three sub-rarities: Legend (Special), Li'l (Special) and Crazed (Super Rare).
Forms[]
Every Cat Unit has up to four different forms that they can switch to and from between battles: Normal, Evolved, True and Ultra. Each form has a different name, appearance, and potentially stats and abilities.
When unlocked, each unit only has access to its Normal Form. The Evolved Form is automatically unlocked upon reaching level 10 and will usually have higher health and attack power or no stat changes at all. True Forms, however, tend to have different requirements depending on the unit:
- Gacha Cats' True Forms can be unlocked using a set amount of Catfruit and XP when at level 30 or above;
- Normal Cats' True Forms are automatically unlocked at level 20+10 (except Superfeline, which evolves at 20+80);
- Other non-gacha cats typically require the player to beat their Awakening Stages and upgrade them to level 20.
True Forms provide different bonuses depending on the unit but are usually more powerful than either of the previous forms.
