Malevolent Stages

The Malevolent Stages are group of special stages added in Version 12.7. They appear for 1 day per month and are unlocked after clearing Mount Aku/Mount Fuji in The Aku Realms. Upon completing a Malevolent Stage, the player will be rewarded with the True Form of the Brainwashed unit corresponding to the unique "Malevolent" Cat that appeared as an enemy in the stage. All the Malevolent Cats are Aku and have the Counter-Surge ability.

Trivia[]

• All the Malevolent Stages are Merciless in BCJP, but are only Insane in BCEN. This is likely a mistranslation in the same vein as the stages of NEO Wanwan's Glory, as the Japanese names of the Merciless and Insane difficulties are very similar.
• The Malevolent Stages are currently the only Awakening Stages for gacha units.
• In Version 13.0, all the Malevolent Stages' enemy bases had their HP increased to 2,500,000. Originally, they had 800,000 to 1,700,000 HP depending on the stage.
