Strategy[]

Getting rid of the Le'boin fast is crucial to succeeding in this stage, as the Gabriels get strong fast, and they can quickly overwhelm you, even if the Le'boin is already dead.

There are two routes you can go, either crowd-controlling the Gabriels so you can chip down Le'boin, or all-out rushing the stage with a combination of stackable attackers and the Thunderbolt Cannon to get rid of Le'Boin quickly.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: BioBone + Horror Movies, Artist Cat, Sanzo Cat (Target Angel Talent), Manic Macho Legs and any unit that can reliably outrange Le'boin, such as Ururun Cat or Crimson Mina.

Start the stage by spawning a single Artist. Upgrade your Worker Cat to level 3 or 4 during this time. Then, spawn Manic Macho Legs to clear out the weak peons and start spamming Artists. When Le'boin comes out, spawn your ranged attacker and begin spamming Sanzo while continuing the Artist spam. Sanzo will slow the Gabriels and Artist should knock them back, keeping the Gabriels alive for a while so that the stronger ones won't spawn. Keep spawning Manic Macho Legs when it is ready, as it can help chip down Le'boin. Once Le'boin is dead, Sanzo and Artist should be able to push the Gabriels back enough to start hitting the base, and you should win.

Strategy 2 - High Levels[]

Lineup: Any research combo (Bad Guys was used here), Ramen Cat, Cameraman Cat, Manic Macho Legs Cat, Cyborg Cat, Housewife Cat, Cyberpunk Cat, Ururun Cat

Items: Rich Cat (recommended)

Notes: All units levels are the highest possible at this moment. All rares / super rares are at level 40, and Ururun is at level 30. Combo units don't matter. Thunderbolt Cannon was used.

Wait for the enemies to get close to the base, spawn a Cyberpunk Cat, a Ramen Cat, then a Manic Legs. Spam Ramen and Cameraman until the base gets hit. After the first Gabriel attacks, add Manic Legs, Cyborg, and Housewife Cat to the spammed units. Send out Ururun Cat as soon as possible, as she is amazing for taking out crowds of Gabriels. If you find yourself with too much money, send out your combo units. If your combo units are already high leveled, they may make a difference. When you see the main horde of Gabriels get knocked back, time your Thunderbolt Cannon so that the Gabriels get frozen behind the Le'Boin and you can get a huge chunk of damage off.

Strategy 3 (4 Crowns)[]

Lineup: Bony Bone + Biohazard Up, Jiangshi Cat, Ramen Cat, Goemon Cat, Cyborg Cat, Cat God the Awesome, fill the remaining slots with more meatshields and Legend Cats.

Wait till the peons are near your base and spawn several Goemons to rack up money. Spawn Cat God the Awesome and meatshields. Since money isn't a problem due to the sheer number of Gabriels, just spam everything. Cat God should wipe out the Le'boin and after that it's a matter of stacking Cyborg Cats to win.

Trivia[]

  • Like all Axis of Evil stages, Celestial Seas has a Russian-themed Japanese name. In this case, Batoru Umi no Kessen (バトル海の決戦, "Showdown on the Battle Sea"), is a pun on Baruto Umi no Tatakai (バルト海の戦い, "Battle on the Baltic Sea"), the Japanese name for a series of fights between the Russian and German armies that occurred on the Baltic Sea during World War I.
