Strategy/Usage

Chalkboard Eraser Cat is essentially a specialized Tank Cat that is only effective against Red enemies, as its cost and health doesn’t allow it to be an effective meatshield against anything else. Even at level 1+30 with max Blood Fruits, its effective health against Red enemies is around a Lv.20+58 Eraser Cat or Lv.40 Manic Eraser Cat, so in the long run it's only useful for Restriction Stages or for Red-heavy stages where Eraser and Crazed Tank still aren't enough. In addition, being a Special Cat permits them to be used in 4-Crown stages, so they can be useful in Red-focused stages such as Boiling Spring.

However, with their increase to a maximum level of 1+45, their new Anti-Red health is 31,250. While this easily surpasses Eraser and Manic Eraser at their maximum levels, it is also worth noting that this requires a ridiculous amount of grinding, and that Chalkboard Punk Cat will still easily die to non-Red enemies.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A blue-ish Tank Cat meant to look like a chalkboard eraser. Attacks by flopping on the floor, much like the original Tank Cat.
• Evolved Form: Now has a gakuran cap and a straw of wheat in its mouth. Attack remains the same.

• Chalkboard Punk Cat is a reference to Masami Iwaki from Dokaben, who is typically seen with an identical-looking student cap and a two-leaved twig in his mouth.
• Chalkboard Eraser Cat's Japanese name, Nekokubankeshi, is a portmanteau of neko (cat) and kokubankeshi (chalkboard eraser); while Chalkboard Punk Cat's, Nekokubanchō, combines that with banchō (leader of a group of juvenile delinquents, or in recent times a title of honor for people with leadership personalities).
