Chocolate Doge (チョコわんこ, Choko Wanko, Choco Doggy) is a Black variant of Wall Doge first encountered in A Colossal Valentine's during Valentine's Day 2021.
While Chocolate Doge has low range and damage, it has a guaranteed chance to produce Lv.4 Mini-Waves, which allow it to deal steady, constant damage, especially when stacked. Due to its large health pool, it can take quite the beating before dying. Also note that it cannot be permanently frozen with Bombercat due to its freeze immunity, leaving it to be a constant danger as long as it is left alive.
Strategy[]
Because of its Freeze Immunity, the best way to take out this delicious Doge is to kill it quickly. Pizza Cat and Assassin BearCat are perfect for the job due to their high damage against Black enemies. While its Mini-Waves don't deal much damage, choosing to use a Wave Shield could be wise, especially if using any low health Cats like Cyberpunk Cat, most Lugas or Slime Cat. Any Wave Shield should work well for the job, as Chocolate Doge has lower range than even Supercat and Octopus Cat.
Chocolate Doge appears to have the letter "W" on its wrapper, which could stand for woof, わん wan (the Japanese onomatopoeia for a dog's bark) or わんこ Wanko (Doge's Japanese name, roughly equivalent to "doggy" or "puppy").
In Choco Chaos Lv.14, Chocolate Doge was accidentally buffed to 3,560% instead of the intended 660%. This was patched in BCJP10.3. However, BCEN10.2 had this bugged level for longer than BCJP.
