Church of Mercator (Merciless) is the last stage in Isle of the Map Lord.
- 5 UltraBaaBaas spawn at 3.33 seconds100f, delay 6.67~10 seconds200f~300f.
- Infinite Those Guys spawn at 10 seconds300f, delay 10~20 seconds300f~600f.
- 1 Metal Hippoe spawns at 16.67 seconds500f.
- When the enemy base reaches 99% HP, Director Kurosawah spawns as the boss with:
- 3 Capies, delay 10 seconds300f.
- 2 Metal Hippoes, delay 30~33.33 seconds900f~1,000f.
- 5 Li'l Bun Buns, delay 20 seconds600f.
- Infinite Znaches, delay 30~60 seconds900f~1,800f.
- 3 of Those Guys, delay 0.06 seconds2f.
- 3 Gabriels, delay 0.06 seconds2f.
- 3 more of Those Guys, delay 0.06 seconds2f.
- 2 Youcans, delay 50 seconds1,500f.
Just like the first stage, the enemy limit (10) keeps all the enemies from spawning at once. In this case, the Youcans will always start spawning last.
You don't necessarily need a critical hitter, but you need a barrier breaker to kill the first UltraBaaBaas, then you can stall the Metal Hippo and build your wallet. You can use a Green Shell to do that.
Once you maximized it, you'll need units to handle the rest of the enemies. That means one eraser cat, one green shell cat if you have it, at least one wave blocker, a few barrier breakers and probably one critical hitter to kill the second metal hippo, with a few backliners / long ranged / anti floating or wave attack.
You may adapt to your available cat units and your available ubers. You will need any barrier breaker, some wave blocker, some backliner and or wave attack cat, decent anti floating and anti red may help.
Ensure that you have collected a decent amount of anti-starred-alien treasures to make dealing with UltraBaaBaa and Youcan easier.
Lineup: 2 meatshields, 2-3 spam-able AoE attackers, 1 wave blocker, rest are your strong units with long deployment cooldown (adjust according to this strategy).
Battle Items: Speed Up and Rich Cat (both are completely optional)
Cat Cannon: Breakerblast
In the beginning, spam meatshields to clump up the five UltraBaaBaas before shattering their barriers with barrier breaker, then use any cheap unit like Cameraman Cat to finish them. (you may use The Kitty of Liberty to make this easier and preserve the metal hippoe's health). When all UltraBaaBaas are eliminated, let metal hippoe advance to your base.
Once the Metal Hippoe reaches your base, start stacking your best (uber) long-ranged units, preferably those who will miss metal hippoe. you'll need at least one non-long-distance (uber) unit to prevent Those Guys from chipping the cat base, ensure that this doesn't deplete the Metal Hippoe's health too quickly. Avoid using any critical hitters or units that can knock back metal. The 200% metal hippoe only deals 400 damage per attack, and by this point you should have at least 100,000 cat base hp to buy yourself some time and fill up your wallet.
When your base is at critical health, use breaker blast to push the metal hippoe (if it hasn't been knocked back yet) and start advancing with your huge stack of powerful cats. Start spawning your spam-able AoE attackers (if you don't have wave-blocker ubers, start spawning octopus cat too). Start spawning meatshields when metal hippoe is about to die.
Once you trigger the boss wave, your massive stack of powerful (uber) units should be able to overwhelm the enemies. You'll need breaker blast to break Youcan's barrier. However, pay attention to the first Znache, ensure that he's killed (doesn't matter if not through Zombie Killer) before he could burrow. Otherwise, he'll cause the breaker blast cannon to target him when he's underground / waiting to be revived and not Youcan. If this happens, just pray that your barrier-breaking units (like The Kitty Of Liberty) can shatter Youcan's barrier.
If you managed to create enough momentum to defeat Director Kurosawah, victory should be yours.
