Condemned Peng (ギルティ・ペン, Giruti Pen, Guilty Peng) is an Aku variant of Jackie Peng that appears in The Aku Realms and Legend Stages.

Enemy

A nasty peon with stats between Aku Doge and Aku Gory alongside a 50% chance to slow units on hit. His range, although inferior to go-to units like Sexy Legs Cat, Paris Cat and Dragon Cat, nevertheless enables him to easily demolish Crazed Bird Cat, Commando Cat and Dancing Flasher Cat. What makes him worse is his level 3 Surge when he is slain, as even one Condemned Peng can already be annoying with his high damage and groups will cause some serious chaos. A badly positioned surge can destroy/slow your attacker and meatshield stack, allowing enemies like Fallen Bear and R.Ost to advance.

Strategy

While fighting this enemy, make sure to spawn meatshields consistently as he is usually used as support for stronger enemies like Le'Behemoth or Fallen Bear and can destroy your line of defense when paired with the Aku Altar making your meatshields have low health. The Surges they leave behind are usually deadlier than the Condemned Pengs themselves, so using Talented Gato Amigo and Beefcake Cat is recommended against groups of them. Surge-Immune units are also good to bring.

Trivia

• His design may be a reference to Maleficent, the main antagonist of Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
• The second Japanese event poster for #01 The Ghost Chapel reveals that "The Sleepless Peng" was directed by none other than Director Kurosawah.
• He is the only Jackie Peng variant to not do any form of acrobatics in his attack.
• He, Sinner Snache, Le'Behemoth, Fallen Bear and Wicked Face were added to the game files in Version 10.8, but were unimplemented and used Doge's stats and sprites as placeholders until Version 10.9.
• He is the only enemy with the Death Surge ability to create a Surge on death that is higher than Lv. 1.
