Crazed Axe Cat (Super Rare Cat)

Crazed Axe Cat is a Super Rare Cat that was added in Version 2.2.3 and could be obtained from clearing the event stage The Crazed Axe. The stage is only available on the 9th and 28th of every month. In Version 5.0, its True Form was obtainable from clearing its awakening stage Axe Maniac which improves health and attack power. In The Battle Cats POP!, it is obtainable via Rare Cat Capsules after clearing Cosmic Club in the Interstellar Invasion chapter. In The Battle Cats Unite!, its event and awakening stages are available on Tuesdays.

Strategy/Usage

An underwhelming unit from an overwhelming stage, Crazed Axe Cat has a rather inconvenient combination of stats. His health makes him ineffective at defending against Red enemies, while his range, single target, health, and costly spammability prevent him from making use of his impressive DPS in most cases. This leaves Crazed Axe Cat without a proper place to shine, although there are rare instances where he can be of help, such as in Unkept Promises. If you want to unlock all the Crazed Cats, leave this one last, as it is the least rewarding and the most tedious to get.

Either way, unless using it for Cat Combos, do not ever use the regular Axe Cat over this one, as Crazed Axe has way better stats.

Appearance

• Normal Form: Deranged, blank stare of all Crazed cats, with the ominous black shadow replacing the eye patch. Also, the axe handle is now red, an odd detail.
• Evolved Form: Same stare and shadow, now on the cat, sword and shield. The helmet's jewel/pearl is now green instead of the original pink.
• True Form: Now has an imposing-looking helmet, with evil-looking eye patterns. The sword and shield are now completely black, with purple highlights. At the top of the helmet, purple flames wave.
