Strategy/Usage
- A Crazed Tank Cat is a Tank Cat but with more versatility thanks to its notably increased movement speed.
- Just like Tank Cat, it can be spammed to enemy front-lines and halt their progression towards the cat base. It can stall enemies to build up cash in the beginning of the level and force zombies to burrow early, particularly useful for zombie outbreak stages.
- Once you unlock it, you could use it to replace one of your other meatshields. He easily becomes a staple unit for almost any level that benefits from / requires meatshield spam. Pairing it up with its non-Crazed counterpart creates a thick line of defense due to it being a particularly "meaty" meatshield.
- Like Crazed Cat, being a fast meatshield brings multiple benefits:
- It can quickly protect cat units that are far from the cat base
- It's easier for it to enter the blind spot of enemies with long-distance attack
- It won't linger in the battlefield for long and die faster from tanking hits. Therefore, it won't clog up the cat deploy limit as much as slower meatshields. (However, fast meatshields leave wide gaps between each cat, so it's still a good idea to pair it with slow meatshields)
- It's definitely worth it to hypermax this unit with catseyes first over other crazed units. At high enough levels it can survive / tank more hits from strong enemies like Mecha-Bun and Sir Rel, which can potentially make all the difference in winning the battle as it keeps other cat units alive for much longer.
