Daboo of the Dead is truly a monstrous threat, with a whopping 3 million HP, 30,000 damage along with a massive Omni Strike range of 800 and a 10-second slow effect. On top of that, he even has immunities to almost every debuff you can think of (Freeze/Slow/Knockback/Weaken). Unlike most other Zombies, he cannot burrow past your cats, yet he can still revive with 10% HP an unlimited number of times.
Strategy[]
Since his slow effect has almost 100% uptime, any unit he can knock back in one hit will likely be unable to ever reach Daboo, instead allowing him to chain attacks on them until they die. For this reason and due to how few units can outrange him, it is recommended to use slow-immune units, fast units and tanky units above all; the more of these attributes, the better.
Although Daboo is able to revive indefinitely, it isn't concerning due to how he is fought. Nevertheless, having a high-leveled Holy Blast is always optimal, as despite being unable to freeze him, its max health percentage-based damage values can consistently whittle him at range every minute or so, which can be all the difference you make in each battle.
"The best zombie is an educated zombie," is what Poppa always said. It's just back issues of trashy horror comics inside that ominous cover, though. Immune to all negative effects.
"You won't be a good Zombie if you don't study." A Zombie who is always lectured by his parents. He's reading a manga with a fancy book cover. Immune to all negative effects.
Daboo of the Dead's Angel variant. She has less health, attack power and range, but has only one knockback, a faster attack rate, a further Omni Strike and triple damage when her HP is lowered. Instead of slowing cats, she deals 40% Toxic damage, killing units without Toxic immunity/resistance in up to three hits.

His name is derived from the Japanese word debu, meaning "fat" or "chubby". This is more obvious with his Japanese name, that being Debuu.
Amongst the first seven Advent Bosses, Daboo of the Dead represents the sin of gluttony.
He bears more than a passing resemblance to Oogie Boogie, the main antagonist of the Tim Burton movie The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This can be further supported by the fact that his Italian name is "Babau of the Death", with Oogie Boogie's being "Bau Bau".
His minimum money drop bring 4,444 is likely a reference to how, in Japanese, one of the two pronunciations for the number 4 sounds exactly like the Japanese word for death. Moreover, his English name has four words while his Japanese name has four syllables (亡者デブウ, Mō-ja De-buu).
Prior to the Version 5.10 Update, he had Long Distance with an effective range of 0~800.
He is the first non-collab enemy to have Omni Strike and the first non-stationary enemy besides Walpurgisnacht to have any immunities.
He is tied with Johnnyleon for the highest health of all Zombies.
He has most of his stats in a multiple of 3, sporting 3 million health, 30,000 attack damage, 300 range, 3 knockbacks, slowing cats for 300f and reviving with 300,000 health after 600f.
He shares all of his immunities with the unit Parade of the Dead drops, Curling Cat (minus Immune to Warp, which wasn't given to Curling Cat until Version 6.5).
