Strategy

Due to how few enemies spawn before hitting the base, it is possible and recommended to stall for money. Cats like Green Shell Cat, Stone Cat and Jellycat can help with that.

Since the Relic Doge Base curses the cats often, it is recommended to either use Curse-resistant or Curse-immune Cats, to fight close to the Cat Base or to not fully rely on anti-Angel Cats. Needless to say, a Curse-resistant Ramen Cat can provide massive help in this stage.

Strategy 1

Lineup: Bony Bone + Biohazard, Horror Movies, Ramen Cat (no Talents or extreme amount of + levels required), any attacker.

Since the Relic Doge Base doesn't have enough range to hit the Cat Base, mounting a very strong defense line there is an effective way to counter this stage. With the help of the aforementioned Cat Combos, Ramen Cat is able to stall very efficiently and not let any Angels through, so it is possible to win by simply summoning some Ramens at the beginning of the fight and stall for as long as possible, then trigger the boss fight and follow by spamming Ramen Cats and adding whatever attacker is chosen; all that matters is that it can outrange Sleipnir. Eventually, the enemies in the boss wave will be killed one by one, allowing your army to advance and destroy the enemy base.

Trivia

• Like all Theatre of Fear stages, Darkened House is named after a horror movie, in this case Black House.
