Date Masamune (Uber Rare Cat)

Date Masamune is an Uber Rare Cat that can be unlocked by using the Rare Cat Capsule during the Sengoku Wargods Vajiras event and the red busters event. True form increases his range, damage, and health.

Cat

Evolves into Wargod Masamune at level 10.

Evolves into Immortal Masamune at level 30 using Catfruit.

Pros:

• Good DPS.
• 40% chance to knock back Black Enemies and Red Enemies.
• Fast attack rate and attack animation.
• Decent cost for an Uber rare.
• Decent health in TF.

Cons:

• Low stamina in normal form.
• Below average stat outside of true form.
• Mediocre attack range (except in TF.)

Strategy/Usage

This unit before TF has low stats and a not very useful ability. Overall, the first two forms are not recommended to put in your lineup.

However, the True Form drastically increases his usage raising his stats across the board and giving him very large padding on his already good DPS and giving him much more health allowing him to survive a lot of things more efficiently. It also gives him a nice 30 range extra which is rather significant. He has low cooldown and low cost and is rather good for crowd controlling things like Berserkory due to his fast attacks and KB ability. This strategy also works for Brollow.

His first two forms still have some use. They can also crowd control Berserkory and can still be used to dish out decent DPS, but not to the level of the true form.

Trivia

• Date Masamune was a famed samurai who fought during the Sengoku era, and during the early Edo period. He, and the Date clan itself, was known for its fine horsemanship and its stellar use of firearms, with the former being referenced in his design.
• This Unit's first form somewhat resembles Odin from Final Fantasy IV.
