Deathhawk is a special stage available on the 3rd of every month if the player has previously completed all Crazed Cat Stages. Using Cat Food to continue the battle is not allowed in this stage, and closing the app will not allow the player to retry.
This stage is very similar to Dark Souls (Insane). However, the Teacher Bear buff is increased to 4600%, the Le'boins are replaced with 1000% Master As and Crazed Cat is replaced with Manic Mohawk Cat.
Long Distance and wave attackers are very useful here, as they can hit the enemies behind Manic Mohawk Cat, preventing them from stacking. Thaumaturge Cat is also useful to stall Manic Mohawk Cat, as she can weaken him, allowing your meatshields to live longer.
Strategy 1 (Li'l Eraser Cheese)
Powerups: Speed Up (recommended).
At the start, spam Li'l Eraser Cats, this will allow them to slowly kill the peons and buildup to the base. When the enemy limit is reached thanks to the peons, don't stop spamming Li'l Eraser Cat and start spamming both of your Giraffe/Lion Cats. This works since Li'l Eraser Cat has the shortest range of all cat units. Your Giraffe/Lion cats should destroy the base. Enjoy your free Maniac!
Lineup: 5 cheap meatshields, Crazed Sexy Legs Cat (20), Crazed Bahamut Cat (30), Ururun Cat (30).
Items: Cat CPU (Highly recommended for meatshield spam).
Wait for the peons to get relatively close to your base. By the time they reach it, you should have your Worker Cat up to at least level 2. When they are close, send out 2 Eraser Cats. When one of the Erasers dies, send out another one (try to have around 2-3 Erasers out at a time). When you get your Worker Cat to around level 3-4, save up money by continuing to stall using Eraser, until you can send out Bahamut. From here, you want to keep sending out an Eraser when one dies, until you can stack 2-3 Bahamuts (this may take a while). After you stack 2 Bahamuts, spawn Ururun and turn on the Cat CPU and watch the magic happen. To help stack Bahamuts, you can use your Cat Cannon at the right time to make Bahamut miss. To do this, you want to fire the Cat Cannon right as Bahamut starts his attack animation.
Strategy 3: (Quick Cheese, Ft. an LD uber)
No need for items, though you should stall the peons until your wallet is full. When Manic Mohawk and the big peons (Teacher Bear and Master A.) arrive, use Thaumaturge to weaken Manic Mohawk, Catdam and Cyberpunk to slow Manic Mohawk, and Ururun for small knockback. The LD uber is, however, not included to attack Manic Mohawk, but instead to hit the supporting two enemies along with Manic Macho Legs, and also destroy the base when Manic Mohawk is still alive. Soon, Manic Mohawk and the supporting enemies will be thrown back to the end of their base, where your uber can attack the base with his Long Distance ability. Spam meatshields and Thaumaturges and send more of Cyberpunk, Catdam, the uber and Ururun as soon as they recharge, and this stage will not be much issue.
Strategy 4 (Prof. Cat Jobs)
Cat Jobs, who has an amazing weaken that sets enemy strength to 1%, outranges Manic Mohawk. With this strategy, you can use his range to constantly weaken Manic Mohawk and use other, strong units to eventually take down Manic Mohawk.
Lineup: 5 slots for the best weaken up combos you have, Ramen Cat. Jiangshi Cat, Cat Jobs and 2 Bahamut-like units, possibly with LD or 451+ range.
Items: Do not bring sniper, the others can help but aren't required.
At the beginning of battle, let the peons hit your base and level up worker cat or something like that.
When you finished prepping for battle, send out a meatshield to clear the peons and start the fight.
The second shockwave hits your cats, send out Prof. Cat Jobs.
You want to lead Manic Mohawk as close as you can to your base early while he leaves behind the backliners as you need Master A. and Teacher Bear as far away from your Cat Jobs as possible to keep him alive so this strategy doesn't fail. So, when Manic Mohawk is close enough so that Cat Jobs can basically hit him and your meatshields will get there before Manic Mohawk starts chomping down on Cat Jobs, send out some meatshields. Do not meatshield too hard, as Manic Mohawk will then stop pushing to Cat Jobs and make the backliners closer.
Once you get the weaken, congratulations! Manic Mohawk now only does 188 damage to the units that he damages.
The rest of the fight is to start meatshielding really hard while sending out your damagers as they come up. Don't forget King Dragon Cat and Crazed Dragon Cat (or Manic King Dragon) in your first row, they will do a lot of damage to Manic Mohawk.
The strategy will prove itself once your meatshields start getting pummeled by Master A. and Teacher Bears. If you did have boosted meatshields that can tank them both, you can use your other slot to send out something like Manic Macho Legs to do damage to them beforehand and knock the backliners back.
When Manic Mohawk gets knocked back, let him push until he gets back in Cat Jobs's range, and do the previous steps all over again.
When Manic Mohawk finally dies, your long ranger(s) should kill the Master A. and Teacher Bears that were behind Manic Mohawk and push up to the base, where you will easily destroy the enemy base and claim Manic Mohawk as your own.
Strategy 5 (Ft. Warlock and Pierre, cheese)
All that is needed is eraser cat (high level), W&P (high level), and any cat combos that increase research power (Also may want to use speed up unless you have extreme patience).
stall the peons with eraser cats while you build up W&P (speed up and research power help). When you have stacked enough (about 5-8 depending on level), spam erasers to get close enough for W&P stack to instantly destroy base without spawning the boss.
At the start of the level, allow the snaches and doges approach your base. Spawn Cyberpunk as soon as you can. Remember to only spawn one Crazed Wall cat, as it can deal minimal damage to the snaches and stop them from dealing damage to your base, unfortunately normal Wall cat doesn't work for the snaches. Spawn Power driller cat after you have enough money. Keep stacking the 2 units until either you feel that you are ready to take on the Manic Mohawk or the snaches die. 3 cyberpunks should be enough, if you want to be extra careful you can do 4.
You can also stack Mina if you want, but that seems kinda overkill. What should happen is your cyberpunk stack should perma-slow the Manic Mohawk and your Power driller stack should perma-weaken the Manic Mohawk. Essentially he shouldn't make any progress. When he gets knocked back, do not worry as Power driller out-ranges both Teacher Bear and Master A. If the Manic Mohawk does somehow get into your Power driller stack blind spot, they should now target Master A which should allow your meatshields to defend better against Manic Mohawk. Your Cyberpunks should always be hitting Manic Mohawk, Mina should always be keeping Master A and Teacher Bear a bay, and your Bahamut cat and Dragons should be doing massive amounts of damage to Manic Mohawk. Use Ururun to occasionally knock back the Manic Mohawk, be careful not to stack them however. Eventually after knocking the Manic Mohawk back several times, you should win. Do not worry about Master A, after Manic Mohawk is dead since Cyber and Power Driller outrange it. Enjoy your new Manic.
Strategy 7 (Ms.Sign Stack)
Lineup: Crazed Wall,Eraser Cat (or Wall cat)
Speed up and Sniper The Cat is recommended.
Upgrade your Wallet while keeping the snaches and doges in a spot without killing them.Sniper the cat Should take them out.Repeat The steps above until your Wallet is full.Stack 10 Ms.Signs.Then Push forward with the Crazed Walls and Erasers. The Manic Mohawk Enemy will not spawn since the enemy limit is 10 and u have 10 Ms.Signs Stacked up.Keep spawning Crazed Wall Cats and Eraser until you defeat the base.Have a great time with Manic Mohawk Cat
