Strategy[]
- Sniper the Cat, Sniper the Recruit and Tourist Cat do more harm than good in all strategies. They will desync the Manic King Dragons and thereby make it more difficult to kill them.
Hacker Cat is an easily accessible unit who outranges and chips the Manic King Dragons. Never go below a sustainable cash amount, and stack Manic Flying Cat to take out the Otta-smack-u waves. Jamiera and a (few) well-timed Awakened Bahamut Cats will eventually kill the Manic King Dragon Cats. It is unwise to attempt to beat this stage without Awakened Bahamut or anti-Traitless ubers.
When the Manic King Dragon Cats die, let Awakened Bahamut die, and rush the enemy base with Jamiera Cat as a shield for him to quickly take out the base before another Otta-smack-u wave comes to disrupt everything. If Crazed Sexy Legs Cat is not spawned as often as possible, peons might push through because of the Otta-smack-us and the Manic King Dragons will get close and begin damaging your long-ranged attacker(s).
This stage is an endurance match, and you must cycle Awakened Bahamut along with Manic Flying or another spammable DPS unit to eventually break down the Manic King Dragon stacks that appear as you damage the base.
Recommended Ubers[]
- Rusher-class Ubers such as D'arktanyan, Sanada Yukimura and Blanka help in rushing the Otter waves; and potentially can chip the Manic King Dragons if timed correctly. If they do not rush first and foremost, testing your timing by trying to cheese this stage is a viable option; although they help no matter what you bring them for. However, before determining if your unit is viable as a rusher, check their speed; having roughly 40 speed and most ideally 50+ is enough.
- Beware the possibility of them desyncing the Manic King Dragons! While they help for both chipping them and the Otters, they might also increase the rate at which the Dragons attack if you are not careful enough! Focus on only spawning these types of units during the Otter waves!
- Cat Machine, Kai, and other such tankers with short recharge times may potentially bring the danger of the Otta-smack-u waves down as well, but depending on their own level they may not last as long as would be most ideal. To fix this problem, it's recommended that you increase their level to or above 30 if possible. Do NOT use tankers with long recharge time here! For the time after they have died, they will functionally be a waste of a slot and useless!
- Super Galaxy Cosmo, Balalan Pasalan and Assassinlan Pasalan are able to actually outrange the Manic King Dragons, allowing for them to safely provide respite from/damage the Manic King Dragons over time. However, each has a high cost, so protect them well! This especially matters with the Pasalans, who have pitiful health and excessively long recharge times, meaning you will likely NOT get another if you let one of them die!
- Because of his speed, Super Galaxy Cosmo is a unit you must be careful with; with the default Cat Cannon or Breakerblast, he will rush forward into the Manic King Dragons and die. Therefore, choose the Thunderbolt or Slow Beam Cannon to use instead.
Strategy 1[]
Lineup: Two attack up (S) Catcombos (Sister Act, Brave Cutter, or Tiny Ancient Hunt), Cyberpunk Cat (30+1), Eraser Cat (20+15), Jiangshi Cat (30+5), Ramen Cat (40+12), Cameraman Cat (40+11), Paris Cat (40+5).
Items: Rich Cat (recommended)
At the beginning, don't spawn any units until the Mooths are close to your base (the peak of the sand dune closest to the base in the background), then spam everything in the second row except Cameraman until a Mooth dies, then immediately spawn a Cyberpunk. Once the Otta-smack-u spawns, start spawning Cameramen until they are all dead. Then only spawn Ramen Cats to stall the Manic King Dragons, and use the Cat Cannon to try to make all all them attack at the same time. When the Otta-smack-us come, wait for them to be on top of the Dragons before you start spamming everything in row 2. Deploy Cyberpunk Cats whenever possible. Keep it up and the Dragons should eventually die. Once the Dragons are dead, keep up the Ramens and Parises until you get to the enemy base. The second round of Dragons will come, but you should be able to destroy the base before the Dragons push you back too much.
Strategy 2 - Cyberpunk[]
Lineup: Tiny Ancient Hunt (Jiangshi 35, Li'l Dragon NA), Little Warriors, (Li'l Wall NA, Cameraman 33), Manic Eraser Cat (30), Can Can Cat (35), Jamiera Cat (20+25), Manic Macho Legs (30), Cyberpunk Cat (35), Awakened Bahamut Cat (30)
Talents: Can Can - Double Bounty
Items: Rich Cat (recommended - used for strat)
Wait until the Mooths are close to your base, then start spamming Jiangshi and Cameraman. Once the Mooths start dying, send in Can Can to let it snipe one of the Mooths so you can profit. The Manic King Dragons should have spawned after the initial Mooths are dead, so start sending out Jamiera and Cyberpunk as well as spam your meatshields. When the Otta-Smack-us reach your attackers, start spamming Can Can, Manic Legs, and Cameraman Cat to dispatch them quickly, as well as resupply your money. Use the Cat Cannon to sync up the King Dragons, then send out your Awakened Bahamut. Jamiera Cat should knock the King Dragons back enough that your Cyberpunk stack is not at risk, and they should die eventually. When they do die, be careful. When the base is clearly open, send out Awakened Bahamut to get massive damage off. The spawned King Dragons should be pinned at the base, and you should be home free to destroy them. Enjoy your free MKD!
