A spectral being who cowers behind the visage of a fearsome deity. Too shy to be seen for long without the mask, he leaves the stage after finishing a single attack, but has extreme health, high attack power, above-average standing range, and an Omni Strike that reaches to -1,000~600 range, ensuring he'll always deliver devastation whenever he does appear. Along with that, he has a 100% chance to create Lv.8 Surge Attacks between 500 and 1,000 range, can weaken all Cat Units hit to 1% for 40 seconds and is immune to most effects. Since he only attacks once, he is used as support for other enemies that will end up being the real danger.
Despite being a Relic enemy, he doesn't inflict Curse.
Strategy[]
His attacks are devastating and hard to prevent, but there are ways to mitigate the negative effects. If you spam replaceable units and fight far from the Cat Base, you will lose ground, but you can always recuperate and try to gain it back before the next Doron. Making him miss and thus avoiding the surge is not impossible, but it requires a unit to trigger his attack, then other enemies must push said unit back or kill it and not let other cats close before Doron is done with the attack, which is nearly impossible to get consistently, or without losing more ground than by taking the hit. Curseblast, if maxed, can be timed to hit just before Doron's attack hits and will result in the whole surge not applying weaken, but the duration of Curseblast is just enough, so it needs to be very precise. If this does not suffice, using Surge-immune cats is equally effective, as they are immune to the weaken effect by proxy since the surge will not hit them. However, be wary of his initial attack; in this case, Cats with Weaken Immunity are still ideal.
Deep within the Ancient Forest, the Doron tribe lives hidden behind masks blessed by the gods. Breaking the mask releases a lethal blast of divine power.
The ever-shy Doron tribe dwells deep within the forest. The tribe wields powers inherited from ancient gods via masks, which they prove by dishing out lethal damage.

Trivia[]
Doron (どろん) is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a person or creature vanishing, such as a ninja concealing themselves with a smoke screen. The closest in English would be "poof". In this case, it literally refers to how Elder Flame Doron disappears for good after attacking.
His Japanese name, 古神炎ドロン Ko Kamien Doron, may contain a subtle pun: 神炎 kamien ("god-flame") sounds almost like 仮面 kamen (mask).
When unmasked, he looks fairly similar to a Boo from the Mario franchise.
He is currently the only Relic enemy who doesn't inflict the curse effect.
He is currently the only self-destructive enemy to appear outside of Event Stages.
He is the first non-stationary enemy to be immune to Surges.
He is tied with Fabulous Pasalan for the highest Surge level and is tied with Freshman Cat Jobs for the strongest weaken of any character in the game, reducing unit damage to 1% of their original.
