Elder Sloth (ヨキカナ Yokikana) is an Alien variant of THE SLOTH first seen in Into the Future Chapter 3.
Enemy[]
Elder Sloth has significantly higher stats than THE SLOTH and can be difficult to face with its 500 range. Just to top it off, he also has 6x speed than THE SLOTH and a 100% chance to knockback your units for more annoyingness, he can probably block your path in Machu Picchu (Into the Future Ch. 3) from getting Awakened Bahamut Cat in Into the Future.
Strategy[]
Despite his knockback ability, the same strategy for the regular SLOTH should work just as well in most cases: tank him with Jamiera Cats and Crazed M. Titan Cats with a little bit of meatshielding, while sneaking in units with high DPS like Holy Valkyrie Cat. A cheaper version of Awakened Bahamut Cat, Dancing Flasher Cat, Butterfly Cat and if you have him, Awakened Bahamut Cat to deal massive damage. An alternative strategy is to use long-ranged cats that outrange him like Sharpshooter Saki, Dark Emperor Catdam, Super Galaxy Cosmo, Aphrodite, etc. to snipe him.
Many times, Elder Sloth is spawned with other dangerous enemies like R.Ost or Ursamajor, such that their long range allows them to support those enemies in a push towards the base. This often necessitates more meatshields than would normally be used to counter these enemies.

Trivia[]
- Elder Sloth's face and body shape resemble that of the River Spirit from the Studio Ghibli film Spirited Away. His Japanese name, Yokikana (ヨキカナ), is a reference to "yoki kana" (よきかな, "wonderful" or "excellent"), which is what the River Spirit says instead of "well done" in the original Japanese version of Spirited Away, and the hot spring resort mentioned in his description may allude to the Bathhouse from the movie.
