Worker Cat Efficiency increased!

The Energy Drink is the first Empire of Cats Treasure, and therefore the first Treasure the player can activate. It increases the rate at which the player earns money during battle.

Effect[]

Increases money income rate by a maximum of +100%. Unlike the Worker Cat Efficiency upgrade, the Energy Drink does not increase the Worker Cat's upgrade cost.

When the player has activated Energy Drink at 100% in all three chapters, money income rate is increased by 300%.

Trivia[]

  • In the Japanese version, the Energy Drink's equivalent is the Masculinity of Kyushu (九州の男らしさ), Kyushu being the largest of Japan's islands.
    • The Masculinity of Kyushu appears to be a fundoshi (a traditional Japanese loincloth that fell out of use after World War II but can still be seen during a Hadaka Matsuri) with the kanji 男 (otoko, meaning "man") on it.
    • In the original English version, its name was shortened to just Masculinity.
  • The name of the Treasure is slightly inaccurate, as three cans are shown, making the correct alias "Energy Drinks".
  • The label of the Energy Drinks resembles the real-life drink brand Monster Energy.
  • It is the only Treasure set to have its own Catnip Challenge.
