Eyewaltz (Uber Rare Cat)

Eyewaltz is an Uber Rare Cat that was implemented in Version 8.10 and can be obtained by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during the Merc Storia Collaboration Event. True Form introduced in Version 11.8 gains Wave Attacks and a slightly longer attack frequency.

Strategy/Usage

Similarly to the Normal and Evolved Forms of Keiji, Eyewaltz is a mid-ranger with mediocre base stats. Eyewaltz has higher base stats, though has a longer recharge time. While Keiji gets an increase in DPS through strengthen, Eyewaltz relies on random chance from Savage Blows and does either 76.5k or 25.5k. Though his recharge time is longer than Keiji, his cost is similar and he still has a fast recharge. Unlike Keiji, Eyewaltz is not a tanky unit (though he still has above average health for an Uber) and its chance to survive a lethal strike effectively gives him four knockbacks.

His Wave Immunity is nice, since he can outrange most wave enemies. It means he can be used against Dober P.D and Hermit Cat, and in wave stages in general, especially since they are stingy with money.

Overall, he is a good mid-ranger with decent generalist usage and wave immunity.

True Form

Although a rather simple change on the surface, Eyewaltz’s True Form brings massive improvements to the table. Most noticeably, his overall average DPS doubles to a massive 14k, which is huge for a pure generalist unit. At level 50, Nameless Eyewaltz has on average 22.4k dps; easily able to shred through countless enemies. Also important to mention is that Eyewaltz gains pierce damage with his level 2 wave. He can reach up to 532.5 range with 7k dps (11k dps at lvl 50). This enough makes Eyewaltz very good at dealing with mid/back-liners. Other than damage, all of Eyewaltz’s previous qualities still apply. However, it is necessary to note that due to Eyewaltz relying on Savage Blows and Waves, damage output is not always consistent.

Overall, Eyewaltz’s True Form makes him one of the current best collab ubers.
