Farmer Cat (Special Cat)

Not to be confused with Farmboy Cat.

Farmer Cat is a Special Cat designed by the winner of the Cat Design Contest 2017 and added in Version 6.7. She was obtainable as a stamp reward during 12/22/17 - 12/31/17. During the 6th and 7th anniversary events, she became available again as the 3rd stamp reward. As of Version 10.7, Farmer Cat is now obtained from the seasonal Summer Break Cats gacha.

Strategy/Usage

Farmer Cat can be used as a temporary replacement for Thief Cat since she has better stats and is easier to upgrade to + levels, when comparing the first two forms of these Cats, but when you are in such a place with Farmer and Thief, you will probably be early in the game and unable to farm the + levels easily. You can safely forget about Farmer Cat once you unlock Thief Cat's True Form, which gains Area Attack.

Other than that, use Farmer Cat similarly to Thief Cat, useful for getting extra money from peons, but nothing else.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A cat dressed as a farmer. She wears a straw hat and holds a gardening hoe.

Trivia

• The results of "Next Battle Cat - Design Contest" are located here.
• She is the second cat to be designed by a fan, Catburger being the first.
• Harvest Cat's description may be referencing the Stalk Market in the Animal Crossing series of games.
• Harvest Cat may also be a reference to Rhythm Heaven's Stomp Farmer, who pulls turnips out of the ground in a similar fashion.
• Not counting Normal Cats, Farmer Cat was the first unit to gain the ability to upgrade to + levels.
• While the Japanese names of Farmer Cat and Farmboy Cat can both be translated as "Cat Farmer", they aren't exactly the same, as they use different words to say "Farmer". Farmer Cat uses 農家 nōka (the Japanese word for farmer), while Farmboy Cat uses ファーマー fāmā (a transliteration of the English word farmer).
• In the French translation of The Battle Cats, Farmer Cat and Farmboy Cat are both named "Chagriculteur", a portmanteau of chat (cat) and agriculteur (farmer).
