Strategy

The main threats of this stage are extremely powerful Single Attack attackers, so the best strategy to deal with it is to bring a lot of cheap meatshields, and have a few nukers to destroy the enemies before they stack up. The B.B.Bunnies should provide enough money to keep up your meatshield spam.

Strategy 1 (Up to 3 Crowns)

Lineup: Crazy Hearts, Li'l Mohawk Cat 30, Mohawk Cat 20+10, Catburger 30, Gato Amigo 30 (other 75¢ meatshields should work fine), Awakened Bahamut Cat 30.

Cat Cannon: Thunderbolt

Worker Cat upgrades are never necessary. At the start of the battle, deploy a Crazed Brave Cat to dispatch the first B.B.Bunny. This should give you enough money for Awakened Bahamut, but don't send him out just yet: make sure you build up a stack of meatshields, including Crazed Macho Cats and Crazed Wall Cats. Once you have enough meatshields to properly protect Bahamut from Cala Maria's multi-hit, send him out. After the first Cala Maria and Capy die, spawn some cats from the Crazy Hearts Combo occasionally, especially Crazed Sexy Legs in order to kill any B.B.Bunnies that come in front; if you don't do this, the Cala Marias can stack up and kill Bahamut, due to him wasting his hits on the B.B.Bunnies. Occasionally Bahamut will rush ahead and the meatshields won't be able to catch up with him in time, but that is only a problem if he does it on the first Cala Maria, for any other Cala Maria, your Crazed Sexy Legs and Brave stack will be able to kill the Capies and Cala Marias. If they can't, simply spawn your 75¢ meatshields until your second Bahamut is off cooldown. After all that, you'll have cleared the stage!

Trivia

• Drunken Backrub's Japanese name, Drunk Massager, directly refers to Cala Maria - her Japanese description calls her attack 肩たたき katatataki, meaning a shoulder massage performed by tapotement (a massage technique involving rapid and repeated striking of the body).
• Prior to Version 9.7, the stage had a width of 4,000 rather than 5,500 and there were no B.B.Bunnies.
